Waking up to the sound of beeping my head was cloudy and my body hurt like hell

" She's been out for two days Uncle Sean "
Grey
" Yes and she might be out longer she hit her head pretty good on the asphalt but the good news is the swelling on her brain has gone down to nothing she should be waking up soon just be patient "

" I'm awake" I whispered out

" Melody " both say

" The one and only " I replied

Opening my eyes to see Grey he had a five o'clock shadow going on looking very handsome I did notice a small cut above his eye

" What happen to you " I asked as I ran my finger across it lightly
He caught my hand and kissed it
" Don't worry it's nothing babygirl how do you feel " Grey asked

" Like I was Tackled by Teddy " I said

Both chuckled

" You know he's going to be a Linebacker for The High School Team he will love what you just said " Sean said like a proud papa

" But that's not what we need to talk about , Melody do you have any discomfort any where"

" Only the back of my head and my ass "

" Well that would be understandable since you cracked your head on the asphalt and landed on your ass , but other than that is that all " he asked

" Yeah and I'm hungry " I said

" Well I would be too if I had a two day nap I'll get you some food but it's going to be light until I know you won't see it again and I will tell your parents that you are awake they are down in the cafeteria "

" Okay "

After an hour of being cuddled by mama and Papas and the rest of the families

I finally asked " Now can anyone tell me why I am here "

" What do you remember " Uncle Owen asked

" Going to dinner to celebrate Carson's arrival and then leaving the restaurant waking up here "

" Well you and Grey were almost run over by a rouge car , From what we have gathered they were paid to scare you they have been dealt with accordingly " Axel said with that tone that says the person met with an early death

" When can I get out of here and Where is Jacks "

" He's at your place getting clothes and other things and bringing them back to our place  you are staying with us until the bastard is caught " Grey says

" Okay " I replied

" You will be leaving in a few hours only because I know they will look after you by the way you are to rest for the next three days , if at anytime she gets nauseous and vomits bring her butt back here immediately even if you need to call Raven to tie her up " Sean said

Raven just laughed but had that look of I will do it if necessary

I rolled my eyes because it was quite funny

" Melody do what Sean says " Papa Mitch say

" I will only if Uncle North and Uncle Luke feed me something good when I get home tonight "

" Deal " North said with a grin
" Yep Deal , What can she have " Luke asked

"any thing light non greasy maybe a soup and a sandwich "

" Alright we will have it ready for her at Jacks and Greys place " North said

Both of them left but not before giving hugs and kisses to me

Two hours later I was whisked out of the hospital in a laundry cart so that no one would know I was even there
Being rolled into a van then it pulled away

When we got far enough the things that were covering me were moved and I looked up to see Mason who had a grin on his face
I laughed out loud at him

He pulled me out of the cart once we stopped and changed vehicles Sammy was in the drivers seat so off we went taking an hour to get to Jacks and Greys house to lose anyone that might be tailing us

He pulled in the driveway and into the garage closing the doors

Before I could even open the door Jacks was there opening it pulling me out of the seat holding me tightly to him

I inhaled his scent it wrapped around me like a warm blanket

" I'm so glad your awake Babygirl now come on in and let's get you fed "

He picked me up and carries me inside and to the kitchen putting me in one of the stools at the island

A bowl of Homemade Italian Minestrone and fresh baked bread was on the island

The delicious smell hit my nose and my belly growls

I hear snickers from behind me

But I ignore them and dive into the soup

After I ate two bowls of it I finally was full

" can I shower " I say

" Yes Babygirl Uncle Gabriel Packed a bag for you go ahead just be careful of the back of your head it does have a few stitches "

Jacks led me to his room while Mason carried the bag

I went into his bathroom and stripped right in front of both of them not caring all I wanted to do is shower

Getting the water just right I stepped in and grabbed the loofah and soap

I wasn't in the shower long by myself Jacks climbs in taking the loofah and began to wash me gently once he deemed me clean he turned the water off and got out he handed me a towel Grey had joined us in the bathroom and helped dry me off

Slipping on the sleep shirt and panties even though both said I didn't need them

I crawled into bed and both Jacks and Grey did too

" Just Hold me please " I say softly

"Always " both say at the same time

Being sandwiched between them I finally felt safe and content

Jacks was lightly rubbing my arm with his fingertips while Grey was doing the same with my leg

It was relaxing me

" Grey were you hurt I remember you were with me "

" No just scraped up nothing more "

" Do we know who is behind this "

" No not yet but we will No one will hurt what is ours"
