Where are my babies?

~Vanessa's POV~

I look over at Grayson standing in the doorway glaring at Charlie.

What's his problem? It's a nurse.

I look up to see Charlie staring back.
All of the sudden, Grayson's glare turns into a smile.

Huh?

(Grayson speaking) "Charlie?"

(Charlie speaking) "Grayson?"

Before I can even process what's going on, they're in a bro hug.

Wait what?

"Bro! I haven't seen you in forever! How's the gang been?" Charlie pats his back.

"They've been great! What about you? How have you been?"

"I've been good. Busy though. I didn't know you had a girl! When did that happen?"

"Yeah, a little over a year now. A year 3 weeks ago."

"Wow. You guys were only together about 3 months before she got pregnant?"

"Ummm... yeah... Well, we were actually together for 2 years before this but she chea- I mean... I broke up with her... But we got back together." Grayson looked down and scratched his neck, obviously hoping I wouldn't say anything. I didn't.

"Wow. Well congratulations! I'm super happy for you brother." Charlie smiles and pats Grayson on the back.

"Well I gotta go put in her information. I'll see you soon. Oh, and good job Vanessa. I can tell you make this one happy. Matter of fact, I've never seen him this happy. Thank you. He needed that." He thanked me before winking and shutting the door behind him.

Grayson turned back to look at me.

"What was that?" I question.

"That's Charlie. He used to be our gang doctor."

"He used to be a doctor?"

"Yeah."

"Why did he quit?"

"Why do you care?"

I sighed and shrugged, laying my head back on the pillow.

"You hungry?"

"I can't eat any solid food for another 2 hours remember."

"Oh. Right."

"Where are my babies?"

I'm starting to get impatient, seeing as it's been almost 4 hours since I've seen them.

Just as I say that, two nurses come in holding Taytum, and the other holding Oakley.

The nurse hands me Taytum and Grayson, Oakley.

I smile.

Thank you for suggesting names. I didn't want to say I was going to use the suggestions for names and then not go through with it. That would be rude. So I used them as their middle names.
