Coincidence (A Cameron Dallas Fanfic)

Chapter 3

BETTINA'S POV

I woke up at 7 in the morning to the sound of my alarm. I felt really tired and sleepy but I had to get ready or else I might miss my flight which was at 10 am. I had to wake up this early because it takes 2 hours to get to the airport. So I went downstairs and ate my oatmeal... alone.

After I ate, I got ready, and called for a cab. While I was waiting for the cab to get to my house, I picked up my phone and called Mika.

She answered her cellphone and I said that I was about to leave and I was jut waiting for the cab. We said our good-byes and I think that I could hear her sobbing on the other end of the line. I told her that it would just be a little while and I would be back for our last year of highschool. She stopped crying and I hung up.

America was on the other side if the world and I can't call or text people using my phone when I'm there because my cellphone is based in the Philippines.

I also told Mika that she can just talk through social media, iMessage or FaceTime.

A few minutes later, the cab arrived. I carried my luggage and my bag to the cab after I locked all the doors and windows in the the house.

When I got in the cab, I decided to sleep all the way there because I was still a bit sleepy.

I woke up when the cab arrived at the airport. I paid the cab driver and thanked him since he was so nice with helping me with my luggage.

I did all the things that I had to do before I go in the plane and went to the business lounge. Whenever we travel on an airplane, we always stay on the business class part of the plane since our dad has connections to the airlines that we go to. It's pretty cool because the seats are always so big and you could put up your feet and stuff.

So when the lady told me that it was time to go to the plane, I went to the boarding area, lined up, gave my ticket and went in. I saw that there were 2 seats on the left and right side and 4 seats on the middle. I got to get the aisle seat on the right side. Only a few people were there already so I thought that it was time to put my luggage in the top compartment since I wouldn't be blocking anyone at that time. When I tried to carry my luggage it was really heavy but I still go to carry it up to the edge of the top compartment but when I almost had it in, my luggage fell but someone caught it.

"Woah hahaha! You need help?" the guy who caught my luggage said.

I check to see the face of the guy and he was really hot to be honest. He had this smile that was so contagious I had to smile back.

"Oh.... I actually do... uh... thanks for catching my luggage"

I was so awkward and I don't know why. I was usually that girl who would always be energetic, loud and NOT awkward but now, I was. It felt weird.

"Haha ok just a sec" he replied and he carried my luggage and placed it in the compartment with no effort at all. Damn he was strong.

"Thanks again" I said with a smile.

"No problem... I'm Cameron by the way" he was still smiling and we put out his hand for a hand shake.

"I'm Bettina but you can call me Tina" I shook his hand and pulled away after a few seconds.

He put his luggage in the top compartment where mine was and he took a seat in the window seat next to mine. I took my seat on the aisle seat next to him.

"Looks like we'll be stuck with me for a few hours" he said jokingly.

"I'll see if I can bear it" I replied jokingly as well. Finally, I'm not my awkward self again.

We both laughed until we heard a guy say "Where's Dallas?". When we heard this, Cameron stood from his seat and said "I'm here Nash". So that's the guy's name.

Nash and a few guys came. They were all really handsome and tall. Gosh I won't be awkward again.

"We were looking for you" Nash said.

"I went ahead" Cameron replied.

Nash looked at me and smiled.

"Oh..um.. and this is Bettina, we met awhile ago" Cameron said, maybe he saw Nash looking at me.

"Hey I'm Nash" he put out his hand, just like what Cameron did awhile ago.

"Yeah, I heard" I said and shook his hand. At least I wasn't awkward with him.

He smiled and went to his seat which was the one in the middle, he was also on the aisle seat, so the only thing away from us was the aisle. The other guys introduced themselves, they were Hayes (Nash's brother), Matt and Carter. They seemed like fun guys to be with. I guess this plane ride alone won't feel to alone. When the thought of being alone came to mind I think my face kinda dropped to a frown.

"Hey Bettina" Cameron snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Um... Yeah?" I looked at him.

"Is something wrong? You seem... sad. Is it something that I did? Or the guys did?" he sounded so worried.

"It's nothing..." I said.

"I know something bothering you... I know that we just met but... you can tell me anything. I won't just, I swear" he was so cute, I can't believe that he seemed to care so much even though we just met.

I decided to tell him what's bothering me. He was a good listener and that gave me comfort. After I told him about "being alone" and stuff like that, that's when I realized how close our faces were to each other. I quickly moved back a bit.

"It's ok Tina, you can stick with us until we get there. After all, we got 2 stop overs. Taipei and Japan right?"

"Yeah. Thanks Cameron" I replied and gave him a smile.

The plane was done taking off and we were already free to move around.

"Hey" Matt said trying to get my attention.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"Since you're going to be stuck with us for a while, we should get to know each other more, you know?" He said loud enough for the other guys to hear.

"Yeah, we should" Hayes said.

The other guys agreed so I also did.

They asked me a few questions and I answered them. The questions weren't very personal so it was all good. It was just like "What's your favourite color?" or "How old are you?"

I learned a few things about the boys. Hayes was at my age (17), Nash, Matt and Carter were 18 and Cameron was 19. They also learned about my problem and they told me that I can stay with them through out until we get to America. They kept me company until I fell asleep, but before I did, I thought to myself...

This wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I know that I didn't get to post in a while but at least I'm back with a new chapter.

The next chapter would be way better I SWEAR.

I don't know when I would be updating again but I would probably be in a week since I have my break for this semester.
