Undertale : Ghost 2 (MettatonxReader Continuation)

💗👻 Two 👻💗

I wake up laying in Waterfall next to Mettaton. My eyes widen as I check the time. I shake Mettaton to wake him up. "Come on Metta, we need to go home!"

He sits up and runs a hand through his shiny synthetic hair. "Oh, my, we should!" He says, standing up and grabbing my hand before setting me on his back and running through Waterfall and all the way to Hotlands.

Alphys looks at us with a concerned expression when we arrive. "I w-was so w-worried! W-where were you?" She asks. Mettaton smiles and says "Sorry, darling, we fell asleep at Waterfall~," he says.

She squeals and looks between both of us. "A-are you two..." I nod. "Yup," I say. Alphys squeals even louder. "FANFICTION T-TIME!" She yells before running off.

I smile at Mettaton and say "I have to go hang out with Grillby today, I'll see you later!" He sighs sadly and kisses my cheek. "Be back soon, darling~!" I laugh and walk out.

At Grillby's, Grillby is acting really silent, as well as Sans. "What have I done now?" I ask Grillby. He points to the TV and says "The latest episode on MTT TV."

I pull out my phone and watch it. It shows a picture of Mettaton and I in Waterfall fast asleep with the headlines "SCANDALOUS! DID METTATON AND THE NEW ROBOT HAVE-" I slam my phone on the table.

Then I look up at Grillby with a blank expression. "Really, you believe that?" I ask. He shrugs and goes back to wiping a glass. I notice Sans is already gone, as well as everyone else. His shift is over.

Grillby walks over and sits next to me. "But is it true?" He asks. I shake my head and blush at the memory of everything. "He confessed, but we didn't do THAT," I tell him. He nods slowly.

Then he gets up and puts on a jacket. "Why don't we talk about this while I walk you home?" He suggests. I smile softly and nod. "Sure," I say.

As we walk and get everything cleared out about Mettaton and I's relationship, we start talking about normal topics like we did when we were just friends.

Soon, we arrive at the lab. "Bye Grillbz, I had fun even though we just walked here." He smiles and nods before waving and walking away.

Alphys opens the door. "S-So, how did G-Grillby handle the news?" She asks excitedly. "Well, everyone at first thought...just watch MTT TV and you'll know. We got everything cleared up, and now we're just friends again."

She nods. "T-That's good," She says. I nod my head. "Yeah," I say. She then stretches her arms and yawns. "W-well, I'm t-tired, I'm going to go to sleep. Y-you should t-too." I nod and head in the direction of my room.

The next morning, Mettaton drops me off at Napstablook's house. He opens the door and I enter. "Bye, Metta!" I say before Napsta closes the door.

"So...I heard that news about you and my cousin...but I don't believe it...but it does seem like you two are together, right..?"

I nod my head. "Right. Wanna play some card games?" I ask, knowing he likes them. He nods and pulls out a deck of cards, and we waste the day away playing cards.
