3. Smol Feisty Bean

Name: Flynn Drisanden
Age: 48
Class: Wizard (Transmutation)
Race: Gnome (Mark Of Scribing)

Description: She has mid-back length dark brown hair, and really bright blue eyes. She wears pretty scholarly clothes, but wears a cloak which hides her spell book from any outside observers. She has a bunch of small pouches and bags that she carries, full of papers, quills, and any spell components she may need. She tends to be more reserved that outgoing unless something that could potentially harm people is occurring. She is easily misconstrued for a child because she has doll-like features. 



Backstory:

Flynn Drisanden is the second youngest of 5 children to her parents, Vorryn & Dozyrie Drisanden. She has(d) one younger sister, named Fleur, and a twin sister named Flora, who left home at about the same time she did, joining a monastery close to the town she grew up in. Home life wasn't always the best, especially because of the fact that her father praised strength and craftsmanship, which was not a very common trait between Flynn and her two sisters (Flora and Fleur). The brother she had, Fabien, was just simply a favorite.

She may not have been on the same scale of magic intensity as Fleur, but she had some magic of her own. While attending the same boarding school her younger sister had, she realized she had a knack for magic, but not in relation to the natural arts. The magic she had the knack for involved the study of the arcane, also known as wizardry. While her sister was busy getting herself expelled because she couldn't hold her temper in, Flynn spent her time in the library, studying spells, ancient runes, anything that could help her expand her knowledge of the arcane. At first, she dabbled in the arts of necromancy (raising of the dead), but after she fell in love with a cleric named Samandriel, who worshiped life above all else, Flynn switched her studies to the area of transmutation, allowing her to turn things into other things. Even though she found intrigue in the magical domain of necromancy, she found that she excelled in the realm of Transmutation. Over the course of a few years, Flynn grew close to her partner, and after a night of drinking and love, she found that she was pregnant with his child. Of course, she had other interests as well. She studied beasts with fervor, and she loved birds in specifics. She learned word from the animal studies professor that nearby there was the nest of a roc, and while she knew it wasn't wise to get as close as she did to the nest, she wanted to study the young of the giant bird of prey. As many know, animals can be extremely territorial, and that led to Flynn being torn apart by the mama bird of prey...

Upon her awakening in this new land, Flynn met with 3 other people. Jessie, the human gunslinger, Walik, the goliath barbarian, and Ven, the elven paladin. She was quick to attempt to make friends with them and she managed to succeed, which allowed her to become part of a small adventuring party. After wandering the lands for a while, they grew extremely close. She learned so much from them, but after a run in that didn't go in their favor, they were abducted by a cult of Yuan-Ti. It took everything in Flynn's power to stay there, but eventually, she broke herself out, and regrettably fled, leaving her party to die for the enemy's cause. It still plagues her thoughts and nightmares whenever someone talks about her past, and she finds it hard to recover from her cowardice even to this day. After escaping, she rejoined society as a powerful wizard and she was constantly on the hunt for information, information about how she got to this land, how she can learn to leave, and how to further her power in order to prevent her end. Now, Flynn shuts herself in her place of residence, ignoring everyone unless she needs to get books or groceries. In her mind, she despises the militia and the fact that they constantly have become more demanding that she join the ranks and serve the country she has no desire to have been in in the first place.
