The Orphans- Riverdale fanfic

3 Girls and 4 boys

Seven scared kids in an orphanage. All of them were around the same age, and they were all very close friends. There were other kids, but they were 16 or little 4 year olds. Either way the seven kids had each other's backs. Whenever said 16 year old treats one of their friends poorly they stand guard. Whenever the adults hurt their friends they're there for them.

They dreamt of running away. They figured that they would never get adopted. They have been orphans since they were babies, but some lost their parents. For example, Polly and her sister Betty. Polly was actually 16 and was the oldest, but she was way different then the others. The girl's parents died in a car crash when Betty was 5 and Polly was 7.

That's how they met the other 5. Polly met Jason who's 15 along with his twin Cheryl. Jason and Polly have been dating for a couple years now.

Cheryl and Jason came in when they were 1. Their parents basically disowned them.

The others were Archie, Forsythe or Jughead, and Kevin. Those three have been here since birth. They don't have last names like the others. 

Polly and Betty were the Coopers, and Cheryl and Jason were the Blossoms. They didn't get bulied as often since they were older, but since Kevin, Archie, and Jughead have been here so long, they get teased a lot.

Kevin gets bullied for coming out as gay. He found out when he met a young boy named Joaquin. They dated for a while until Joaquin got adopted and left Kevin. Everyone bullies him other than his friends.

The 7 teens decided they'd had enough of this when they went to leave the orphanage. The bad thing was that the adults found out. There were guards everywhere. Jason was the first to act as he attacked the guards while they were trying to restrain him.

After that, everything else happened so fast. First, Betty was clinging to her sister as the teens where running out the window when Polly whispered into her sister's ear and managed to get out of Betty's grasp. Betty screamed as her sister went after Jason and she went to run after her. Someone grabbed her and pulled her through the window.

The 5 remaining teens ran as fast and as far as they could. All they carried was the clothes on their backs and only small items that they could put in their pockets.

As they neared to a stop to take a break, Betty realized that it was Cheryl who tugged her out the window. Cheryl was still gripping her arm tightly. They both looked at each other with tears in their eyes. Immediately, they hugged knowing that they just lost part of their family. Their actual blood.

The 3 boys watched as the girls hugged. They didn't know what to do. They looked at each other for answers, but the boys had no clue how to comfort the girls. Since Polly and Jason were the oldest (Jason was born before Cheryl) and were dating, they were like the parents to their emotionally unstable family.

They were the ones to comfort the others. They were stronger than the others. They shared a bond that the others have never had.

"So now what?" Cheryl caught the boys off guard and Kevin almost fell since Cheryl broke him out of his daze.

"Uh, we can find a place to lay low." Jughead tried to be helpful, but he didn't have any idea as to what he meant by a place.

"Let's get walking." Cheryl wiped a tear from her eye and began walking with her arm around Betty. Now Cheryl was the oldest and she was gonna make sure that they all had a place to sleep before nightfall.

They had about 4 hours till dusk and Cheryl was gonna make every second count. After the first hour though, everyone looked exhausted.

"Fine, we can take a break." They all sighed in relief at Cheryl's statement and Jughead immediately collapsed on a nearby cinder block.
