"The Mall"
I thought this day would be the best day of my life with my brother and sister because it was months that we were parted (that was after my mom died) and now we were so glad to see each other again and working together like a team of a football team. We were like a scout girls and boy. Like a team.
I ask my brother of why he was frowned to hear my sister Jollie said that we will be together forever.
And he gave me the letter and I knew that he will arrive after this day to the other town to make a job for himself and for ourselves. He will be a bagger there and a security for the products that will fall from the shelf.
"You will go?" I sadly asked.
"Yes, I will. I must. Its for us," he said sadly and put his hands to my shoulders.
"Ezra, please understand. This is for our own good. With this, I can help you to reach your dreams and finish your studies."
"I understand. I really do." I tried to feel fine but not. Now, it was all a false hope. I thought we will be united again forever, but I forgotten the 'family' and 'independent' thing.
I hugged him and said.
"But, bro, please don't forget about us. I love you so much. Take care of your job and so much to your self, please. Promise it."
He raised his right hand and gave his promise to me.
We made a group hug and after, they went out from the room to give me privacy. I lay down to my bed and rest. I must to accept all and everything. That I will be facing a lot of trials in my life to test myself. I must still be optimistic.
I moment later when an idea comes in my mind.
I went through the stairs of my room and called out my bro and sis in the kitchen eating their snacks (well, I didn't joined them, I'm full).
My step family were in their rooms busy with themselves. I'm not sure. And I think dad went out to his farm for his little chickens and pigs there. He started building a farm since my mom died. It will be our hope and last way to feed ourselves. When the chickens and pigs were bigger enough to sell we will earn much money. Then, we can buy all things we needed.
I went near to my two friends.
"You've fall asleep a minute after," Jollie said.
"Oh! Really? Nice nap---"
"Come, join us!" Bro Jack gladly said to me.
"No, thank you."
"Are you blooming?" Complimented Jollie.
I chuckled softly.
"Did you have a nice dream? Go, tell us," added Bro Jack.
I chuckled again.
"No, I didn't. And I am not definitely blooming. I'm sad all months after mom left us---"
"No, don't say that. I moved on," pretended Bro Jack and bit his chips.
"I missed her," Jollie frowned.
I hugged her softly and said.
"We missed her, that's why--- I plan to go out and hang out with you! Only us--- three. They were all busy, I think," I said in a low voice almost whisper and hushed.
If my step family will know this--- all will be ruin.
"But, where will we go?" Asked Bro Jack.
