"What Happened Behind The Audition"
"What happened behind the audition"
WE WERE hurrying went to the main gate of the school. Dwayne the first, I mean the security guard, (you might confuse if it's the salon manager) was sitting on his high (by its height) and little (by its width) guard's house twirling his hard stick with his broad left fingers. We're knocking on the closed threshold simultaneously and we were so early for the lunch break. We really had a lot of missed classes for my anticipation. But, I think I could ask some of our clanmates of what did they do after poprock star performed his opening jam. Maybe, that's a good idea.
I was still covering myself with my shawl.
Dwayne went down and mumbling with his eyebrows pulled together, he was annoyed.
He opened the gate on the single door and asked us.
"Hey! Where are you came from? It's about to lunch. First day and you're cutting class? Is that a good quality for a performing arts student? Huh? Explain!" He demanded and it made us jumped in thrill.
"No, it's not. But, I know you can't remember us. We've change a lot and maybe, this could help, as we promise, we will let you show this to tell you that we... We are... You know... Ms. Delatore and Ms. Wilde." I explains and muttered our last names, somebody might hear us, as I shove my hand in my shirt that we shopped—and showed my necklace.
His eyes were mesmerizing, I didn't knew if it's because of my make over or Sue's, or because he thought I lied.
"Really?" He asked.
I nodded curtly. "Look in my eyes, remember?"
He stared at my eyes to Sue's and shocked. It was so awkward.
"You? Oh my God! I can't believe! Wait, why?" Dwayne asked.
"Dwayne, we need to do this. Cause if not, her stepsisters will not allow her to perform in any presentations in the school. So... Will you let us in?" Sue explained very matured.
"Oh! Yes, yes, yes! My pardon."
And he let us in the school. "Thank you," I said and we swiftly walked to our treehouse. "It's a secret, right?! I'll keep it! Take your lunch!" Dwayne said loudly as we were about to make a distance from him. "We will!" Sue said back.
The students were started heading to the canteen to take their lunch even the bell did not ring yet. All of them were overjoyed to meet their new friends. They all seemed weren't strangers to each other. They were very comfortable to be with each of them.
From the west side, I saw Terry and Kora talking with their new sassy girl friends wearing fancy dresses. I wished I was like them, good in attracting people to be friends with. But, not. Sue was the only one I was sure that was my real friend here. Carlos and Raina were left and I didn't knew when we'll meet again together. I'm excited for that destined day.
The bell rang as the megaphone announced, "Mr. Christopher de Rockha and Mr. Franklin de Rockha, for your lunch please come here in your cabin next to the President's Cabin under the Narra Tree. Leila, the president's secretary, will be the one to assist you there in your room. Thank you and welcome!"
And the phone was killed.
"So... The crazy fans already knew where they could find him. That's a silly announcement," Sue said and smirked.
"They have huge body guard's. Girls can't pass through them," I uttered.
But, I wondered, where on the campus was Christopher? They left after his opening jam. I remember what he had said to Mr. Musician that they will set their cabin as he finished jamming. Maybe, they really didn't set their cabin, but roaming around had fun of themselves. He was still an adventurer. Not afraid to lost. Love to roam around without knowing where to go.
