What is love?

It’s one of the hardest questions ever- where every answer could lead to a debate.

Sometimes, we mistake love for lust. We often say we love someone but we can’t even bring our pride down to say sorry. We say we love this and we love that, even though we don’t. We use the word ‘love’ so loosely that we forgot what it really means.

So, then, what is love? I still couldn’t conjure an accurate answer for that question in my own words. We could continue our journey in life and try to find the meaning of love as we live. But that’s kind of ‘odd’ because the answer has long been written.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails.

I’ve written this story because I believe that underneath all the ugliness we all have, there’s beauty. Behind every flaw is perfection. Every end is a new beginning. We all have our own demon inside us, it’s in our will who we wanted to prevail.

Remember, Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is Love (1 John 4:8).

This story is for YOU.

You, who would take time to read this. Thank you.
