Kassie tied her bags to the saddle before hopping on the horse gracefully. Henry kept watching her with love eyes. He admired her longer thick brown hair and her eyes that appeared behind her glasses sometimes. He knew she hated her eyes.

"It's Kassie now by the way. Kiara changed my name into my birth name" She said as they started walking next to each other. She on her horse and he by foot.

"Kassie" He mumbled very slowly as if it was candy he tasted. It was quite a pretty name in his point of view.

"I still can't believe that you're back" She said smiling down at him. He was a unbelievable handsome lad now. Completely innocent looking through. There was nothing that seemed vicious about him. He didn't seemed like someone who could kill anyone. But Kassie, Kassie considered herself capable of killing humans not just because of her heritage. No but because of her protection or for the people she loved. She wanted to bury her heritage in the darkest corners of her mind. "Are you free actually now? I'd love to go hacking so we could continue talking"

"I am so yes" He answered smiling brightly. He was already about to fall in love with the younger girl. He had just turned seventeen and she was fifteen and eight months. But that difference never used to bother them when they were younger. "Get your groceries home and I'll get my mare ready" He smiled as he stopped in his tracks suddenly. They were already on the house of the Johnsons. She nodded as she rode off with a smile plastered to her lips. She hurried to follow his commands and get home.

"Where do you think young lady? Didn't you just fulfilled your duty?" Matthew asked suddenly acting strict.

"Oh dad please! I want to go hacking with Henry Johnston. I met him today and I couldn't believe it. There is so much to talk about. Please"

"No, Henry is a handsome lad and boys this age just wanna get into your pants" He said now sternly and serious.

"I knew him since I was five. He's an orphan just like me" She said slightly annoyed and sad but still to excited to think straight.

"You're not an orphan" He mumbled before hugging her dearly."Go before your mother finds out that you're out with a boy" He smiled as she was to excited to get any word out of her mouth. She hurried to mount her horse just to trot towards the Johnston residence. Henry just mounted the bay colored, pretty mare. The two smiled as they made their way towards the way out of the village towards the fields and meadows. They suddenly passed Sarah Eaton and her brother who looked at them both absolutely confused. No one has ever seen them together before and not on a hack. You usually didn't went hacking just for fun either.

"So tell me what happened after I left" He broke the comfortable silence. They both had been listening to the noises of the nature and the distant village.

"I was as sad as I never was before. I once even cut Liam with a bread knife as he was being an absolute idiot and you weren't there to screw him off with a sassy comment. And I couldn't stop myself from crying myself to sleep for two weeks in fear I could dream about you. On one side I was absolutely satisfied that you found a home and a family but on the other I was selfish enough to hate you for leaving me. And then someday sister Kathleen told me to pack my bags because there was someone coming looking for me. And then the Burgess's picked me up and it all changed. They are the cutest and the nicest people on this planet. Kiara named me soon officially Kassie Burgess and made me sign in the family bible. It was all perfect and I wouldn't change it if I could go back but there was always this..." She stopped watching the brown mane flip from left to right.

"Hole. That sadness of something missing" He said hopefully as he totally understood her. She nodded as she smiled slightly towards him. He took her hand even though the gab between the horses separated them.

"And now everything is perfect" She said as broke their skin contact watching a cherry three on a big meadow. "Who's last at the tree there is a stinky potato" She yelled as she already made her horse start galloping.  Henry won with his mare for sure.

"You're childish" He said as he dismounted his horse to tie it to a tree. "Please don't ever stop that" She snickered as she repeated his actions and walked behind him towards the cherry tree. He stretched his limbs as his eyes fixed with the sky. And again Kassie repeated. "You know I like the name Kassie. It really doesn't suits you though. It has something innocent and you're not"

"I am in the eyes of god. Did you just question that?" She said in disbelief. "You are the one that isn't innocent anymore I suppose"

"Nah the girls like me but I just don't like them you know? And I didn't meant it like that. I meant you're wild and Kassie sounds like a name I'd give Josie Benson"

"Josie's my best friend" Kassie just commented as she rested on the soft meadow either. "Promise that you wouldn't leave me again okay?" She asked turning her head towards him. She could stare at his fine features forever like that. And yet she would keep finding little flaws that made him even more attractive. Out of sudden he turned to her catching her staring. He light chuckle escaped his lips as he reached forward to snatch her glasses.

"I promise" He said as she lifted herself up a little to get them back.

"Stop it" She said as she started to crawl towards him.

"Make me" He whispered vicious just as he wanted to stand up she stopped him by getting onto his lap. Still he held them up so she couldn't reach them. As she got them finally she breathed out and allowed herself to lay completely on the so strange yet so familiar person. She was already exhausted from the hunt of the glasses. His heartbeat went on very quick as she closed her eyes.

"We're sinners; if someone catches us they'll lapidare us" She managed to get out of her mouth as his chest raised and fell evenly.

"I just tell them that you're a demon" He snickered as he bothered to touch her long hair. She just chuckled as well as she tried living the situation. She couldn't imagine anything more perfect.
