Excuses and Explaining

David's POV

             I can't believe that Celina is standing right in front of me. I have to be dreaming, right? "guessing you two know each other?"Will asked breaking the awkwards silence that now filled the room between the two of us as we both nodded. "What are you doing here mj?"I asked using her old nickname as I was in complete shock to why she was in the studio. 

              "First off my name is Celina, not mj.. and Secondly, Im here hanging out with my friends.."She said knowing she was pissed at me by the tone of her voice. Well least now I answered my question if she was mad at me still or not.

Celina's POV

             "First off my name is Celina, not mj.. and Secondly, Im here hanging out with my friends" I said feeling my blood not only boiling in anger as I cant believe he just asked me why I was there. But the same time it was a way for me to hide the hurt that I was feeling inside from all years of not hearing from him and now all sudden he here.

            "I didnt mean it the way it sounded i.. "David started speaking before I put my hand up cutting him off. "Save all the excuses Scarzone.. If your here to try apologize now.. your Four years too late.."I said getting into his face slightly looking up at him hurt before turning and picking up my bag frowning. "Sorry guys.. I have to go.."I said hugging alex and then guys excluding david before walking out trying to hold back the tears wanting to come out. 

              What am I suppose to feel? Happy? I mean I am happy that guys have someone for their band. But with all people in the world it had to be him? Do I hate him that much? I'm not really sure as my head was battling a now constant hurting war with my heart not knowing who was going to win this time.

David's POV

                Fuck. So this day literally just went from the best to being the absoulute worst I think. "So.. Im just going to ask but how did you know Celina?"Gabe asked blunt as I remove my eyes from door after seeing her leaving knowing she was pissed and hurt. "Ive known her since we were 5..."I said looking back over to the others. 

                "I know im suppose to be here hanging and getting to know you guys, but i have to go talk to her.. can you tell me where she lives?"I asked looking around knowing they would know more than me about where she lived now. "Are you sure that a good idea? I mean it look like she didnt want to see you.."Dana said rubbing back of his neck as I nodded sure. "Yes I need to see her and Explain what happened"I said before leaving with them to the cars following in mine as Will rode with me talking a bit.

                When we pulled up to her house, I jumped out running to door knocking repeatdly till Cole pulled me back from door just as it opened. "oh hello guys what bring you here? oh.. is that little david?"Celina's mother said moving other and hugged me and I hugged back as she was like another mother to me. "Hey Mrs. Travoni.. um is Celina here?"I asked as the elder woman nodded letting us all in room.  "oh im sure she will be so happy... Celina!!"Her mother called and not second later she came out standing at top of stairs looking at us, well more glaring at me before walking away to slamming door.

                "Oh my.. Im sorry I dont know what gotten into her.. maybe you kids can see what happened.. I need to run to store so make yourself comforable and it nice seeing you again david"Her mother said leaving house as all others looking at me. "wish me luck.."I muttered more to myself going up stairs heading to room with the blaring music knowing it had to be hers.

Celina's POV

            There I laid in my bed listening to Disney Dudez which I usually did to get my mind off things. Well in this case it was getting my mind off David and him being in the group. It was when I heard my mom calling my name and slowly I got up groaning walking across the hardwood floor to top of stairs looking down to group of friend and him.. standing right in front of all them.

             Just as I thought I was calming down, now he was here at my house! I stormed back into my room slamming door behind me not caring if I got in trouble and turned the sound of my dock player up louder to block everything out. 'how could they bring him here? why is he here? probably here to give more excuses' I thought in my mind laying back in middle of my bed staring up at ceiling not even hearing knock on door but it was when seeing it opening corner of my eye and him stepping inside.

              I scoffed sitting up and glaring over at him picking up remote to my dock turning down music crossing arms over my chest. "Dont you ever learn to knock?"I said as he nodded saying "I did but you didnt hear me cause of music so I walked in". I tried holding back blush and looked away feeling a bit guilty for bitchy comment just now. "what do you want david?"I said not looking over to him nor moving from my bed till I felt weight shifting and looked over seeing him sitting down in front of me at edge of my bed.

                "I am here to explain.. so if after you dont want anything to do with me then i will leave and never come back"David said serious looking back at me with his greenish hazel eyes just like the first time when we were children. I did not say anything as I uncrossed my arms and nodded listening to him start his story. 

~~~DAVID'S FLASHBACK~~~

                I rush running down the isle of the theater leaving from dance rehersals of the company i've been dancing and participating. My eyes scanned over the time as I knew I should of skipped practice today but no, my mom said I shouldnt skip. But today was the last day Celina was going to be around only till noon and I cant miss her. As soon as I jumped into the car I yelled in a panic. "Come on mom go! It almost noon! she going to be gone!".

                      My heart was racing as my eyes flashed between the road in front of us and the time reading on the dashboard of the car at 11:55am. "faster faster...."I said seeing the school coming into view as I didnt wait for my mom to stop the car offically once in parking lot and bolted running across the massive lot towards the kindergarden playground which was on far side. "Celina!! Celina!!"I yelled out getting to the other side out of breathe looking around to see no one in site. 'she gone...' I thought walking slowly towards swings seeing something in distance.

                        As I got closer it became more clear in my eyes of sight. It was her spiderman plushy that she loved so much. I picked it up holding it in my hands before sitting on seat of swing feeling the tears coming out knowing and thinking out loud. "I didn't get to say goodbye..."I whispers feeling the empty space taking over once were my best friend held it.
