"Well this is one way to start my day off. The most irritating way that is. Hopefully it wouldn't stay like that." The flames seemed to have calmed down quite a bit.

'The house feels emptier than a crypt. I can't just sit here watching the walls, no matter how prettily I've painted them. I need to see real people, another benefactor for my own entertainment. I have to hear their stories and screams of agony. They give me an energy I can't get any other way. I don't care about helping anyone much, but a good drama and a rewarding appetite are proven to be quite endearing for myself. So long as they won't annoy me or ruin my moment, I'm happy. My time is a strict split between new responsibilities as a royal and enjoying my old hobby. They both feed my soul, I need the loud and the quiet joys of life, a bit of peace with plenty of wild times mixed in.'

With that in mind, she left the room and decided to take a stroll around her mansion. Maybe one of her servants is doing something interesting.

Some people are born good and always fight off the bad. Some people are born bad and become good through great effort. Others are born in light and fall to darkness. And others are born in darkness and cannot see the light.

Try as you might to believe otherwise, everyone fits into one of those categories. Which one are you? Are you good or bad? Light or dark? An angel or a demon?

I know what I am.

When I came of age I realized the life ahead of me was one of anger, pain and hatred. Of darkness. Did I want that?

Yeah. I did.

I grew up surrounded by fire and ash and poison and death. It was the only thing I knew, so of course I wanted it. I was never taught what love was. What kindness was. In fact, in my entire childhood I think I saw just one type of smile - a smile full of malice and cruel intent.

It was all I knew.

I was trained to be the perfect killer. Battle axes, daggers, swords, maces, bows and arrows, even magic. A never ending endless of possible executions to offer my prey.

For three decades I slaved away, learning ever more imaginative ways to torture and kill. And I enjoyed it, because I knew of no other life.

I am a demonkin living in Nellium, nation: Ouroboros, in a time where most of their people thought all of my kind are nothing but creations of all evil therefore we are hunted down to be eradicated. Even those who wishes to live a peaceful life with them have lost their lives believing in something so absurd that makes me say they are nothing but prudent fools. They have shunned us and so I must say why not be what they think of us... A bunch of bloody merciless demons.

Leaving each others presence, we set off to finish what we started but with a promise to reunite once more in the future and start off a new life, one only for the two of us. Though what he told me buffled me for a bit.

My occupation in Nellium is being royalty. You see, most of my kind are not common to attain a title such as royalty in a world where we are detested the most. With the help of illusionary magic, intelligence, along with my beauty, I was able to devise a plan to attain this title, quite a long process might I add, in the end it was worth the blood spilled... not my blood that is.

We tend to do what the weak couldn't do themselves, I shall rid this world of the corrupted beings while Raener smites all evil. This seems to be the only solution I could think of that would not only allow me to continue my kind of euphoria but it would help my love search for his now purpose in life.

I am nothing more than a visionary with a dream to live a life with Raener alone. I don't care what you think of me as long as you obey. I acknowledge that I have odd methods, but they work. I know what life should be like and I understand that many things and creatures are inferior to me. In my position it is simply mercy. I know if I don't save them with the wonders of death. they will die in the horror of life.
