Anna's POV

After that,the classes are practically a blur because I'm thinking what would I do if I want to make raven fall in love with me. Then lunch came,I'm waiting for Melissa in our usual table when the others made their appearance.

"Hey,hey,did you saw the new student? I heard she's hot." Mike said as he sat down beside me and slung his arm across my shoulders. Mike is the captain of the basketball team and he and I were once an item,of course I broke up with him when I found out that I'm a lesbian,that and the fact that he is a conceited and arrogant jerk. I rolled my eyes and shrug off his shoulder.

"Yeah I heard she's friends with that Raven." His best friend Alfonse said. Like Mike, he's also an arrogant jerk but he has a brain. Allison,his girlfriend who is seated beside him slap his arm.

"Where's my kiss?" She said and that's all they said because they started eating each others faces to bother talking to us.

"Go get a room,you two." I said but they ignore me. I rolled my eyes.

"You're just jealous of them. You know you can do that with me,like the last time." Mike whispered in my ear. I push him away because he's invading my personal space.

"No way." I said as I stand up looking for Melissa but what I saw is much more better. Raven is with the transfer student and Lea Manning. I quickly buy my food and ran after them. I'm sure they're going to the library because that's where Raven always eats her lunch. Of course my guess is right,I saw them in the corner of the library,sitting on the floor by the window. The transfer student talking animatedly with Lea and Raven quietly reading with glasses on. I stared at her for a minute or two staring at her. She looks like an angel.

"It'll last longer if you take a picture." She said,looking up from her book to stare at me. The other two stop talking and look at me.

"Is it okay if I eat here?" I asked with a smile. The transfer student shrug and go back to talking with Lea. I sat beside Raven and open the chips I bought.

"So...what are you doing here?" She asked before going back to her book. The sudden instinct to tuck the wayward dark hair behind her ears is so strong that I clench my hands into fists. When I don't answer she look at me with a raised eyebrow.

"Don't crush your food." She said and pried my hands off on the bag of chips. Shock went through my arms and pleasant shiver ran through me,I saw her frown a little. Did she feel what I felt? If so what does this mean?

I look into her eyes and got lost in them. Her blue gray eyes is like the sky when there's a storm but there is still a gentleness and warmth lurking beneath her stormy gaze. I look down at her lips and I started to lean in. Just a little more...but my annoying phone started to ring. I swear I'm going to kill whoever this caller is. Raven's lips is just a breath away,if my phone don't ring...well there will be more opportunities,it seems that the feelings between Raven and I are mutual. I stand up,excusing myself and answer the phone.

"Where are you?" My best friend said.

"In hell. Do you know that your timing sucks? Its just a breath away Melissa,her lips is just a breath away when you called." I hissed at the phone.

"Oh..."

"I'm in the library." I said and ended the call. I go back to sit beside Raven who go back to reading,but this time much closer so that our shoulders are touching. She didn't move away so I took that as an encouragement and took her hand. She look at me and raise her eyebrow,her lips curling upward in the corner. I smile back at her and she shake her head and go back to her book. I lay my head in her shoulder and begin to hum my lunch long forgotten.I don't know why but when I'm with her,I feel safe and warm.

"Do you want to hang out later?" She asked without looking at me. I look at her surprised that she asked me to hang out with her.

"Are you asking me out?" She shrugged but not look up from her book. I grab her book with my free hand to make her look at me.

"Wha--"

"Yes."

"Yes what? And give back my book I'm on the best part." She said and make a grab for her book but I his it behind me.

"I'm going to hang out with you." I said as she try to get her book again but it only bring us closer,our faces only inches apart. She stop what she's doing and look at me. I heart skipped a beat when I saw her look down at my lips.

Kiss me,kiss me,kiss me...

I chanted in my mind but this time the bell interrupted us. Ugh,I'm starting to hate anything that rings.

She stand up and pulled me to my feet. I tilted to look up at her,I know she's tall but up close she's a head taller than me. I saw Alexa and Lea go on ahead so that's we are the only one in the library. I completely forgot about them.

She let go of my hand and begin to walk for the door but I grab her hand. She look at me with a smirk.

"You really like to hold my hand aren't you?" She said and I blush. She chuckled and shake her head.

"Cone on were going to be late." She said and tug at me. Yeah,I really like to hold your hand but I don't say that aloud.
