Prayer to Gods

Raven's POV

"I... Y-you do? I mean--uh--really?" I stuttered and she giggled.

"Who would have thought that I will see you stuttering. You don't have to answer me now, I j--"

"No, no, it's not like that, I mean I have a crush to you too and I like you, and...and... Gah! I'm not good at this kind of thing, but I like you. What's there not to like? You're beautiful and kind and honest and beautiful--" She cut me off with her hand on my mouth.

"You said the beautiful twice. It's enough for now that you said that you like me, but I'll make sure that you will say you love me too." She said this with a challenging tone and me being me, accepted her challenge. I remove the hand covering my mouth and smirk at her.

"Are you challenging me Lancaster?" She smirk at me and move to sit on my lap and come to face me. "No because I'll win."

"Then let's make a bet. If you make me say that three words in a month, I'll be your personal slave, I'll do anything you want but, if you can't you'll be my personal slave and you'll do anything I want. You can do anything to make me say that magic words, no rules, how's that?"

"Deal. But let me clear one thing, you're my girlfriend now right? I can go ballistic to anyone that flirts with you right?" I laughed as she said this. Now that's a sight that I would pay to watch for. The kind and happy Anna Lancaster going ballistic on someone.

"Yes. You can."

"Good. Now let's go home."

The sound of my alarm clock woke me up. I groaned and reach blindly for the stupid alarm clock. I open my eyes as the door slam open and Al stood there with her hands on her hips, her body only covered in towel. She glared at me and walk to where my alarm clock, grabbed it and throw it on the wall. Great, I'll buy another alarm clock again. She smile smugly then glare at me.

"If you don't get ready in five minutes we're going to be late." She said as she wrestle the covers from my hands.

"Ugh, go away." I said and pull back the covers from her hands but she don't let go, instead she pull it to her. I smile inwardly as an idea form in my mind. I pull it harder to me and as she pull it back with more force I let go. I heard her curse under her breath as she stumble back and lost her balance, the towel falling off her body. I covered my face with my pillow to muffle the laughter. Oh, i just wish I caught her expression on a camera and print it.

"Oh, you want to wake up the hard way, fine." She growled and before I know it my back and my head hit the floor. My breath knocked out of me and I groaned, it's her turn now to laugh and for good measure she grab the pillow and hit me with it.

"Stop! Stop!" I shouted as I held up my hands in surrender. She grinned at me and offer me her hand.

"Now that's a really effective way of waking up certain people." I rolled my eyes as I stand up.

"Yeah, yeah. Just cover your yourself, it's early in the morning and you're seducing me already." I rolled my eyes again as she ashamedly posed a seductive pose in front of me.

"Is it working?" She said as she pose for another.

"No and as I remember we're going to be late, go get some clothes or do you want Lea to see you in your own naked glory coming to school."

"Do you think she'll appreciate the view of me naked?"

"Put some clothes on Al." I said as I go to the bathroom to take a shower and brush my teeth. No way in hell that I'm going to school without showering.

"Hurry up Ray!!" Al shouted as I put on some clothes. A skinny jeans, black v-neck shirt and a pale blue leather jacket that makes my blue gray eyes more blue, I tied my long hair into a ponytail and put on my signature boots.

I saw Al leaning on the door frame leaning with her car keys in her hand.

"You're going to drive?" I asked a little nervous at the thought of her behind the wheels.

"Yes, so you can tell me what happened to your date." She saw me looking back and forth from her car and to her and she rolled her eyes. "Don't worry, I'm not the same driver last year. Now hop in were already late." I make a silent prayer to my father, Zeus, that I'll live after this and hop in to her car. Before I can even get the seatbelt around myself she already floored the gas.

Dad? Zeus or any other god that is hearing my prayer right now, please let me live to see the sunset. I promise I'll be a good girl and hunt those rabid beasts each night and I will not glare at anyone anymore. Amen.
