recap:
you and jabez just found out at your gender reveal party that you are having twins instead of one baby. end of recap

you and jabez stood there with blue and pink confetti all over you with your mouths wide open. you were so shocked to hear that y'all were having twins.
jabez: we having twins?! 😧😂
jabez went over to you and hugged you while spinning you around. you hugged him back and kissed him when he put you down.

the gender reveal party was ending and everybody was starting to leave. you went into your room and sat on your bed thinking about how you were having twins, then jabez walked in and sat down next to you.
jabez: hey ma 😘... what you thinking about?
y/n: i'm just thinking about how we're gonna take care of two kids when we weren't even prepared for one 😂
jabez: we got this... cus now we have a lil jay and a lil y/n 😂
y/n: yeah... true 😂☺️
jabez: i know i never told you but i just want you to know that i'm here for you and... i love you ❤️
y/n: you love me? 🥺
jabez: i do... i'm in love with you y/n
you hugged him tight and gave him a passionate kiss.
y/n: i love you too jabez 😍

after about an hour later, jabez left to go home while you were by yourself just watching netflix and eating snacks. you decided to facetime your best friend ari who you hadn't seen in months.

facetime
ari: hey best friend... how are you and the baby doing? i heard you had your gender reveal today 😁
y/n: about that 😬😂... we're not having one baby but twins 😂
ari: TWINS?! 😧
ari screamed on the phone with excitement.
ari: girl you're having twins?
y/n: yep, a boy and a girl ☺️
ari: awww i'm so happy for you... i can't wait to come to your house when you have my niece and nephew ☺️
y/n: i can't wait either
ari: okay best friend i gtg... love you and your babies 😘😂
y/n: bye we love you too 😂😘
you hung up the phone with ari. you decided to call jabez to see if he made it back home, but he didn't answer. you didn't worry too much about it so you decided to take a nap because you had a long day with the gender reveal.

it was about an hour later and you woke up from somebody calling you. it was jabez's mom. you answered and was wondering why she was calling.

y/n: hello?
j/m: hey sweetie... i think you might wanna come to the hospital. jabez got into a car accident and he's not doing so well.
y/n: what? 🥺
tears started to roll down your face and you couldn't believe what you were hearing.
j/m: he asked that you come and i think he really would love to see you and have your support.
y/n: okay... i'm on my way right now 😭

you were rushing to the hospital and finally arrived. you went to the nurses desk and asked her where jabez's room was and she told you. when you got to his room, you saw him he was all banged up and had scratches and scars all over him. and it looked like he broke his leg. you went over to him and he smiled at you.
y/n: omg 😔🥺
jabez: hey ma i was hoping you would come
he spoke in a raspy quiet voice.
y/n: of course i would come... you just got in a wreck
jabez's mom looked at you two and left the room.
jabez's mom: imma give you two some privacy

y/n: how did all of this happen jabez?  😭
jabez: i was just driving and then a big semi truck hit me from the passenger side of my car 😔
y/n: i can't believe this happened 😭
jabez: hey hey... don't be sad for me baby 😟... i'm okay and i'm still the same jabez... ya feel me 😂
he wiped your tear while you let out a little giggle at his joke.
jabez: i love you okay?
y/n: yea i love you too

you went back home and jabez's mom said that she would stay with him in the hospital because you were pregnant. when you got back home you facetimed jabez to see if he was okay. you were devastated about this happening but jabez didn't want you to stress because it would affect the babies. you took your shower and went to bed and you were ready to see jabez in the morning.
