"Once upon a time, Avis met a handsome stranger and fell in love with his strong will and fatherly love for his children. Once deemed the evil and ugly villain of the story from those in the main plot-"

"Heyyyy! Don't break the fourth wall, Avis!"

"Sorry, Merylie. Continuing on! So the villain ran into the other handsome Avis, saving him from big scary cat and even scarier mage hunters."

"That was your own fault for walking into such an obvious trap," Voltaire sighed, crossing his arms and leaning back in his leather chair. 

"Shhhh! Father! I'm listening to his story!" Merylie hissed at her dad and settled back into Avis' lap, tapping Avis' cheek to continue and staring into the fireplace. "So as I was saying," Avis cleared his throat. "The man caught the handsome Avis' eye while saving him from danger. And then the brave Avis stood up to the mighty hero to save the mighty Voltaire from danger. Avis met the king and told him "No more stealing, no more bad stuff!" And they finally lived happily ever after!" 

"Aww, where did Mery go? Isn't she there too?" Merylie pouted, crossing her small arms. Avis laughed. "Yes, yes, and Mery was there too and so was Tidas and Cherrie and Boxer the cook," Avis smiled and closed his leather-bound journal. 

"But it was all just the beginning for us, right V?" Avis threw a look over his shoulder at Voltaire. The buff and gruff man smiled softly. "If you keep giving me those puppy eyes, I'm gonna have to put Mery to bed and show you how long we can go," chuckled Voltaire. 

Avis' face flushed furiously. "T-That could wait, Mery is here!" Avis covered Mery's ears. "Stop playing with me before I come over there right now." 

"Then come," Voltaire grinned. Merylie sighed. "Just gooooo!" She pushed Avis to his feet and shoved him into Voltaire's lap. "Should we tell the readers how we really met?" Voltaire reached a hand around Avis' neck through his silver hair and pulled him into a sweet kiss. "Its a very adventurous tale, isn't it?" Avis agreed. 

Merylie looked at you and smiled. Ready to go to the beginning? Make sure you pay close attention!
