After the laughter died down Shrina took me on the tour most of it was us fooling around and 24/7 blushing when we accidentally laughed and directly looked at each other. I stopped in front of a glass mural inside the chapel and stared at it in awe.

"So pretty.."
"Reminds me of someone." Shrina said quietly behind me causing me to blush

"Hey Shrina can I ask a question?"
"Sure go ahead."
"Why are you called devil?"

I saw him flinch and look away slightly at me
"Oh I'm sorry! I didn't know it was a soft spot!" I waved my hands apologizing

"No no it's fine."
He breathed in
"When I was little I had a pretty happy life. I lived with my younger brother Shō and my mother... We always went to this park or grassy field to have free time. I promised my mother I'd protect her and my younger brother telling her I was going to be a hero."
I saw him clench his fist and look down
"I didn't keep that promise... my mother turned into an infernal for my brother he died in the fire. Most people think. I started the fire giving me the name Devil and sadly I smile on the worse times so it made the rumors worse."

Shrina's POV
I felt tears slowly escaping my eyes until I felt a strong embrace my eyes widened from the sudden contact but I knew who it was.

I held my arms out still surprised and looked down to see the familiar black haired girl and her vanilla scent causing me to lay my head on her head.

"I'm sorry.. you went through that I know how you feel you have no idea." She started to speak but I could easily hear her voice starting to crack I tried to see if she was crying but she hugged me tighter

Does she not want me to see her cry?
"Megami? I don't understand."

"My parents also turned into Infernals and my brother was killed."

I slowly embraced her and petted her hair
"But how? Doesn't your family control infernals?" I asked confused
She let me go wiping her tears and nodded
"Yes but it doesn't prevent us from becoming one."
"And I honestly don't believe the counsel saying it was unknown how it happened. I believe someone leaked information about my parents finding out how they happen and how to stop it. Causing the counsel to make them one." I saw her furrow her brows and look directly at me

She was about to speak until Tamaki came in
"Hey! Stop flirting Captain said it's time to go to bed Megami has a big day tomorrow."

We looked at each other she took me by the hand causing me to blush and walked out together

Timeskip

We made it to her room I saw her quickly look around and placed her face close to mine but whispered in my ear

"Look inside your hand"

She turned around and smiled
"Good night!"
And with that she closed the door I quickly made my way to my room to see Arthur already laying down

"So how did it go?" Arthur asked while I climbed up to the top bunk
"It went fine." I simply replied
"So it didn't go well?"
"Dude I said it went fine go to sleep."
"Tsk whatever." I heard him roll over to his side
Sorry dude I just don't want you to be awake just in case Megami wants me to meet her.

I layed back onto my pillow and slowly opened the note
When you read this meet me in the chapel at midnight

I glanced over at my clock and it read 11:58pm
Well shit.. I hope Arthur's asleep
I slowly looked down to see Arthur snoring and turned to the wall
I sighed in relief and made my way down creating tiny flames to not land on the floor
"Where are you going?"
Shit
I started to sweat and smiled
"I'm just going to get some fresh air I can't sleep." I simply replied heading towards the door
"I'll come with you."
"No thanks."
"Come on dude I cant sleep.. unless you're going to meet Megami?"
I froze in my steps I could feel his smirk piercing from behind me
"Why would I be doing that?" I replied trying to keep my composure
I heard his footsteps grow closer to my body and felt his hand on my shoulder gesturing a note to me
Arthur meet me at midnight with Shrina it's important
I studied it and looked at him we both nodded and made our way to Higanbana's room
