Into the Cave

Leona:
I walk into my "room" and gather all of my valuables and money I "found" over the years and put it in a mud brown duffel bag.It was actually very surprising how easy it was to "find" money around the house.
One time I "found" several $100 notes when I was cleaning the pack house.Once I had every thing I needed I met up with Alyssa by the pack boundaries.
"Alyssa do you really want to come?you don't have to because I understand if...."My voice cracks at the thought of another person abandoning me.Alyssa stares at me like I had two heads."I want to go and if there's anyone I want to leave this shithole with is my best friend"She stated firmly with a
no-bullshit look in her eyes.
"Together?" I asked wearily
"Forever" she howls grasping my hand in hers as we walk on the brink of the boundary .I look into her eyes and nod.We run past the pack boundaries straight into no mans land.I feel an exhilarating surge of energy burst through me as my bond with the pack breaks. We keep on running until we collapse in exhaustion. As lift my head from the ground I take in my surroundings.I notice we are by a stream, the sun is setting and the night is arising.We haul ourselves up and limp to the water.We drink and turn away prepared to run again when I hear a voice."Leo turn around go follow the glow.Trust your-self and your fate will show" A melodic voice whispers."huh Lissy what did you say?"I look at her in curiosity.She looks at me in bewilderment"Lea I always knew you were crazy,I didn't say anything"she chuckles punching me in the arm while shaking her head. I nod and turn around while murmuring "Yeah I must be hearing things" I start to walk again but come to an abrupt halt. "LEO FOLLOW THE GLOW!" The melodic voice hisses with so much authority."Follow the glow"I drone, like I was possessed and turn back to the water noticing a bright silver trail of light.I stare in awe and start to run after it almost instinctively.I tune into my hearing and hear padding behind me letting me know Lissy is here. The trail heads south.The trail starts to slowly dim.It leads me to a bank with a cave.As I survey my surroundings I notice a large stone glistening under the moonlight. I stare at it in awe and see engravings in it,they say:Leona LUNAE, tactus ad eam.I stare at it trying to figure it out and the letters morph. I gasp in shock. Strangely I understand it clearly. It now reads:Leona MOON touch it. I follow the creepy rocks instruction and graze my fingertips over its surface and I feel an electric current running through my entire body.I jump back and look back at the rock it now says:"Into the cave Leona.INTO THE CAVE...."
