Happy ever After~

Later that night we all sat at the dinner table and had friendly family conversations about things you wouldn't normally ask person unless your just...normal. Like "How was your day?" or "What happened today?" just question that don't need to be asked. This isn't probably relatable for most people but most don't eat together at a dinner table. Anyways I saw my mom get in a serious mood after the prep conversations just to get the vibe going. She looked towards my step dad and straightened her posture.

"Reo....I think it's time you knew" she said. I could feel a nervous gulp getting stuck in my throat.(<.<) I tried drinking my anxiety away with some fresh waterfall water made from only the finest of Fiji. "Our sons have made a great bond that is very strong and deep. Deeper than love it is trust, and they've come very far to conclusion that they might.....be in love" she explained. The look on his face gave away what he was craving to say but didn't want to seem un-excepting, so he said 5 simple words that gave us the okay, "I'm happy for you two" he said as a smile started to appear on his face. The relief I felt when he said that was incredible. I felt like a caterpillar after waiting 10 days to hatch into a beautiful turquoise butterfly.

After all the corny feels and spilling emotions all over the table which I had to later clean up me and Asahi went for a walk around the neighborhood and to see the starry sky. "So we're finally out there" Asahi smiled "Well not fully but this is a start" I grabbed his hand and watched him put our connected hands into his pocket. "Don't want you to catch a cold" he giggled "What about my other hand?" I questioned "What other hand?" He asked "What chu mean what other hand?!" I exclaimed. He laughed before answering back "I'm kidding" he laughed. "I'm gonna fight you one day, so ima keep drinking milk till I get tall enough" I said while I playfully punched his shoulder. "I love you." Asahi said before stopping and getting on one knee. My eyes widened because I already knew what he was gonna say "Kai will you stay by my side forever" he asked "I- uh.....yea, ofc." Kai answered [Well I got played good] I thought. He stood up grabbed my hands and smiled before kissing me under a million stars.
