"Johnathan wooderson! What a joy to see ya!" John hears a very familiar voice call out as he sits down at Starbucks with his coffee. "Emily! Hi how are
You! How college?" He greets his old friend. Emily is one of those girls that really belongs in old time England. She speaks like them and acts like them but she's a lot of fun to be around. John, Naomi, and Emily were kind of a trio and possibly the only person John speaks to from high school.
"I'm splendid! Thank you!"
She squeals. "So John how are you doing with the whole one year thing, I know we all dearly miss the darling." She says in a much more concerned tone. "Well you know, it's hard. I'm not gonna lie these twelve months have been hell. Recently everything I see or hear reminds me of her. I think the only thing keeping me somewhat sane is the fact that the bastard died too." He blurts. Emily was the only person John felt comfortable talking too since Emily almost felt the same amount of pain John did when she died.
"Well we can only hope for the best! So what do you say we head over to the cemetery right now to get to talk to Naomi, I'm sure she's listening." That was Emily for you; always so optimistic. "That's good but I actually want to have just one more conversation with her. Just have me talk and have her talk back, you feel?"
"JOHN OMG HEY LOOK WHAT I FINALLY BOUGHT!" John hears his little sister Blair scream across the shop. "Blair why the hell are you so loud!" John scolds at his sister as she sits down. She's seventeen but acts like she's twelve when it come to something new she bought.
Blair held up the target bag up and squealed with excitement. "Guys guess what I bought! A OUIJA BOARD AHHHH!!" Emily and Jonathan immediately looked at each other. "Are you two like in love or something? Cause that was hella creepy," "Blair shut up!" John yells.
"So Blair, that little device, does it work?" Emily asks politely. This little "toy" might just be johns little one-way ticket to Naomi.

So second chapter. What did you think? I know I know no horror yet but hey I think it's good to kinda set the scene.
