Dreams Can Be Real

Chapter 2

My heart was racing and I couldn't understand why. Throughout the whole day I kept staring at him until he finally realizes it and comes up to me during passing period. " I see your uh.. staring at me." I start to blush but I don't respond. He tilts his head and says " Did I do something? " I just stand there, shocked that he's REAL.  " Uh..no its just that you are..you are...in my...my..." I kept stuttering and I felt so embarrassed. " I am what?" He looks at me with concerned eyes. I let out a sigh. " Never mind. I need to go." I past him and I get lost in the crowd.

I hop on my bed and think about what happened today. " I see your uh..staring at me." I can't believe he caught me staring at him . I felt sooo embarrassed. But I just can't believe that he's real. I try to close my eyes and go to sleep, but I can't. This is impossible. I've never seen him ever at my school. So why does he pop up when I all of a sudden have a dream about him? I shake it off and I finally go to sleep.

I wake up coughing,and throwing up. " You alright?" I answer him still trying to breathe. " Yes I'm fine . Thank you Vodik."  " No problem." He turns his back to me and walks off with the rest of the group. " Vodik wait!!!" He turns around and I give him a hug. "Can I tag along?" He smiles and I know what his answer is. " Okay guys we have to stick together. No more delays and please be careful. Jodie I'm talking to you." He looks at me and I say " What!!? It wasn't my fault I almost fell." He smirks and I punch him on the arm playfully.

" Mom are you feeling better?" My mother slowly sits up on her bed. "Uh yes sweetie. I'm fine. But can you please grab my purse? My smile turns into confusion and I look around the room for my mothers purse. She hasn't gone anywhere for about a week now and now she wants her purse? " Here you go mom"  I hand her her purse. " Why do you need your purse? Are you going somewhere?" My mother chuckles. Its so good to see her finally smiling and going somewhere. " Actually me and YOU are going somewhere." My eyes widen and I stop and think where would we go? " Where?"  My mom gets off the bed and walks over to the restroom. " We honey are going to Butlers Town." Butler town?? What is that? I've never heard of it before. " And what exactly is Butler Town?" She sighs and looks at me. " Well..uh Butler Town is a town where people go and get all sorts of goods. Like baked goods,antique,pets,food,clothes. They give all that stuff for free every year and before I was pregnant with you, me and your father LOVED coming here. But now we don't because people hardly go there anymore and so I just thought that maybe I could go one last time but this time you get to see it with me.

I smile and give my mother a hug. "Of course I will go. For dad and for you. " She smiles and gives me a kiss on my forehead and I walk out of her room to let her change. Now my life is finally changing.
