Dreams Can Be Real

Chapter 1

"Jodie,are you alright?" My mind is lost in all my thoughts and all I could think about was my dream. " Huh? Uh yea its just I had a dream last night and.....never mind." My boyfriend just dropped me off from the movies. Its 9:00 pm and I slowly enter my house and walk into my room. My mother has been in bed for about 5 days now, because my father recently died.

He was shot by our neighbor, and me and my mother had to move. She never really says anything to me and she hardly gets out of bed. She only gets up to use the restroom, and to check if I'm home. Im always the one to clean the house and even get her food. My mother quit her job so now I have to look for one to pay the bills. She really has been putting a lot of pressure on me so I had to get some fresh air with my boyfriend. I take off my shoes,put on my pajamas and I slip into bed. My eyes drift off and I some how continue my dream I had last night.

"No! You can't do that!" I yell at him. " Well honey I don't care what you think. Okay? You either stick with us or don't. But just know I'm the leader,so YOU OBEY ME!!" I turn my eyes away and tears are falling down to the ground. He can't make us do stuff we don't want to do! I don't want to die. He can't do this!! " Well you ...you know what Vodik....I...i don't need you. I can protect my self!!!!" I say threw sobs.

I turn around and run away from the group. And all I can hear is Vodik yelling at the others to move. I stop and turn my head around and they are moving in the opposite direction. He turns his head to look at me and he has this slant smile on his face.

I dont want to go back, but something is telling me that I need to. That I have to stick with them. I turn my head back and I take one step........." Ahhhh!!!!!!!!!" All I can remember is Vodik and the group yelling my name.

"So Jodie,did you have fun last night? My boyfriend,Avan says. " Yes, I did. Thank you! I needed it too!" He smirks and then says" Well I'm glad you had a great time and your welcome!" He gives me a kiss on the cheek and tells me" I guess ill see you later?" I stutter but I manage to say " Uh...yea...you will." I give him a light kiss on the lips and I turn my back towards him. I walk into the classroom and that's when things started getting weird.

What's going on? Am I dreaming? I must be dreaming. No that...that can't be Vodik." Um sir your kind of in my spot." He gives me a slant smile,just like the one in my dream and gets up and goes to another desk.
