Chapter two.
Drew wasn't the most ecstatic person when he realised what I had asked him to do.
In fact, he looked annoyed. I was confused to why he reacted this way, but Chris said something to Drew that made him sigh and nod. My eyes flicked between the duo, knowing that, just like when we were kids, they weren't going to tell me what they spoke about - being friends with two guys was harder than being friends with one girl, I mused.
"Well?" I pressed, looking at my best friend expectantly. "Will you help me?"
After exchanging silent looks with Chris, Drew grumbled under his breath and nodded. "Fine, I'll help you."
"That's great!" I jumped up and threw my arms around him. "Thank you, thank you."
Drew's arms slowly circled around me and he squeezed me tightly. "I guess this is making up for all the times you've helped me?" he asked, sighing.
"Of course, Drew," I said, pinching his cheeks with a smirk. "You had to pay me back somehow, and I want to go on a date."
Drew stood up - with me still hugging him - and looked down at my dangling body, a smirk on his face. "If you can't let go, baby, then how will we find you a guy?"
"Shut up." I rolled my eyes and let go off him, my feet touching the floor a moment later. "It's not my fault you're too tall."
"It's not my fault you're short.... munchkin."
With a laugh, he jogged out of the food court, leaving me to stare after him before realising he had used that horrid childhood nickname on me. "Drew!"
Leaving behind my laughing friends, I chased after my best friend, intent on strangling him.

"That's what you're wearing?" Natalie asked when she walked into my room the following evening.
I looked down at my outfit and frowned. "What's wrong with it?"
"It looks like you aren't trying. Isn't Drew going to find you a guy tonight?"
Looking at my reflection, I noticed I did put in less effort than when I went out with Drew to get him a girl, but I didn't know how to be any different. "I don't know what to wear."
"Those outfits you wear for Drew, you need something to wear for you." I looked at her blankly. "Okay, let's see what you have in your wardrobe."
Watching as she almost destroyed my wardrobe; I sighed and looked out my window. Would Drew even find me a guy? He'll probably only find guys that want to get laid.
"This is what you are going to wear." I looked over at Natalie with a frown. "This is perfect!"
Before I could protest, she was pulling me up and shoving the dress into my hands. I sighed and walked into my bathroom to change outfits. As I looked at my reflection, I realised that I did look better in this navy dress than the other one I had on.
"Fine, I admit that this looks better." I smiled at my friend and pulled out my boots. "Okay, I need to meet him in twenty minutes. You coming with me?"
Natalie looked down at herself before shrugging. "Sure, I look club acceptable."
We walked downstairs and climbed into Natalie's car - since she had it in her head that I would be going home with a guy tonight and I would leave her stranded at the club with no way to get home, as if I'd be that much of a bad friend.
