My phone alarm went off and I had to get up. 6 Am, it's so freaking early. I got out of bed, brushed my teeth, took a shower and put on a Hoddie and a jeans. I packed my bags and went to the lobby, Cash was already waiting.
"hey, you're finally here" he laughed. "yeah, it was pretty hard getting out of bed" I said and hugged him. "I feel you. We've to wait for my brother, Maverick" Cash told me, I nodded. We waited for 10 minutes, Maverick finally came then. "finally, what took you so long?" Cash asked Maverick. "uhm, nothing" he mumbled. "well, then let's go to the airport" Cash said and we drove to the airport with a Taxi.
When we arrived, we checked in and gave away our bags. We've had 1 hour to go, so we chilled at the Airport. Maverick was listening to music, and Cash and I did Tik Tok's. He teached me the dances and lyric. It was fun doing that with him, he's just so kind. The hour went by fast and we got onto the plane.
"do you want to sit at the window?" Cash asked me. "yes I'd like to" I answered him and sat down at the window. Cash sat down next me, and Maverick next to Cash. The flight took 4 hours and Cash and I nearly talked the whole time. When we landed, my mother was already waiting for me and I ran to her.
"Mom!" I shouted and ran to her. "Sweetheart" she said. "I missed you mum" I mumbled. "me too" she said. Cash was standing behind me, as I turned around, I faced him. "oh, and this is Cash" I said to my mom. "nice to meet you Cash" she said and shaked his hand. "a honor" Cash said. "so you're the boy who kept her in LA a few more days" she laughed. "yes, that would be me" Cash said and laughed too. "okay sweetheart, say goodbye we've got to go home" my mom said. I hugged Cash, "Bye" I mumbled into his shoulder. "Bye Cara, see you" he said and we pulled away. As I was walking out of the airport I turned around and waved to Cash, he waved back at me.
My mom and I drove back to our house, just when I first saw it again, I thought of my dad. I was worried he'd slap me again. We came in and I straight took my bags and went upstairs to my room. I put the clean clothes back into my wardrobe and the dirty ones, I washed. Just as I was chilling, my mother walked in.
"hey sweetie" she said and sat down in my bed. "hi mom" I said. "look, I've to leave for 2 weeks. You'll be alone with your father and your brother" she said. I couldn't belive it, she leaves me alone with them for 2 weeks. "w-what?" I stuttered. "yes but I've got a present for you" she said and handed me the box. I unpacked it and held a phone in my hands. "omg, what" I said, I couldn't belive it. "yes, I'll not be able to be there on your birthday next week" she said. "thank you so much" I said and hugged her. "I'll leave tomorrow, so take care of yourself" she said and left the room.
It was already late, so I brushed my teeth and put my pjama on. I went to bed, I fell asleep pretty fast, because today has been a very exhausting day.
The next day, I got woken up by surprise, it was my brother. He usually doesn't even comes out of his room, I looked at him confused. "is something?" I asked him. "can you fix the wifi, it's broken" he said, I rolled my eyes. "yeah I'll do it" I said and he left. I stood up and put on sweatpants and a hoodie. I went downstairs and charged my new phone. I made breakfast for my father and me, I went upstairs to my room and ate alone. As I walked downstairs and washed my plate, a text came through my phone, but my father saw it first.
"who's that, and why's he texting you 'hey beautiful'?!" he said. "oh uhm, I met him in LA" I said quite. "who the heck does he think is he? You're going to ignore him" he yelled at me. "but dad!" I yelled back at him. "don't you dare yelling at me" he said. I grabbed my phone and ran upstairs, I really didn't wanted to get hit again. I'm really scared he'd do it, if I don't break the contact. So I wrote Cash a message, that I knew, would hurt him.
Cara: Cash, I'm sorry but we can't stay in contact.
Cash: what? Why so suddenly!?
Cara: I'm sorry, we just can't.
I wrote, and I felt horribly bad. I could feel the pain that was going through his body. I couldn't help but cry, he really got important to me. I threw my phone on my couch, I just couldn't belive this was happening. I grabbed a bock and began to read, I just had to get on other thoughts.
When it was about 5 PM, someone rang on our door. I stood up and went downstairs to open it. When I opened it, I saw Cash standing there, completely wet from the rain.
"Cash?! What are you doing here?" I asked confused. "why did you did that?" he said with tears in his eyes. "Cash, you don't understand that, I had to do it" I said. "but why can't we be friends? There has not to be anything else" he said. "I'm sorry, i can't do that. Bye" I said and closed the door in front of him. I ran upstairs and threw myself onto my bed, I started to cry heavily.
The thing that hurted me most was, that I could see the pain in his eyes. But I had to forget him. So I took a shower, washed my hair, brushed my teeth and went to bed extra early. I just laid there, thinking about what happened. It was just unbelievable, I met someone who was so kind, never ever has anyone been this kind to me. And then I had to lose this person.
