A grown Beverly reached her hand to ring a doorbell, the number 5 written on the door.
The door slowly opened, revealing an old lady. "Yes? May I help you?" A voice croaked, making Beverly grow a little nervous.
"I used to live here." Beverly told the woman.
A young, thirteen year old Beverly stood in the room, a tired, angry look written along her face.

The old lady opened the door even wider. "Won't you come in?"

"It's the least I could do." The lady spoke, a smile on her face.

"Is it like you remember?" The lady smiled up at Beverly, who's blue eyes slowly looked around the apartment.
"Cleaner." Beverly responded, starting to look through some things.
"Well, you feel free to look around while I get the water boiling." The lady said, walking away as Beverly pulled out an old-looking card.
Beverly held up the old postcard, starting to read the sloppy handwriting written on it. "Your hair is winter fire,"
Young Beverly sat in her bathroom tub, reading the postcard she found in her bag, smiling at the thought of Ben writing it for her.
"January embers, my heart burns there too." The corners of Beverly's lips slowly went up at what she was remembering.
As she smiled at it, behind her stood the old lady, who eerily stood there for a few seconds before creepily walking out of sight.

"There you go." The old lady smiled at Beverly as they both sat across from each other, Beverly thanking her for the cup of tea. "Now, some music!"
The lady turned on some eerie, slow music, and some flies started attaching theirselves to the window next to the two women, making Beverly grow a little uncomfortable.
"I do apologize, it does get very hot in here this time of year." The lady spoke, sweat forming on her forehead.
"It's fine." Beverly kindly smiled at her, taking a sip of her warm tea.
"It just feels like you could just about die!" The lady smiled, also drinking her tea. "But you know what they say about Derry,"
Beverly smiled and looked up at her. "Hmm?"
"No one who dies here ever really dies." The lady said with a smile, and suddenly froze in her place.
Beverly's grin slowly disappeared as the music suddenly came to a stop, and a different tune started to play, and the lady's eyes stuck onto hers as if for dear life.
She knew one thing. Something was terribly wrong.
The lady's face suddenly moved again and said, "But tell me, how is it being back in Derry?" And with that she took another sip of tea.
