"WHERE THE FUCK did the clown go?" Arianna asked with panic, her hand interlocked with Richie's.

Everybody looked at Bill, who's eyes landed on the door leading to the basement. "Down there!"

Without hesitating, the losers all quickly made their way down the basement, where they saw it. The well. "There!" They all stood around it, looking down it with fear.

"The rope!" Mike suddenly said, and he ran to the corner of the room and came back with a long rope. Him, Ben, Bill and Richie all helped each other hang the rope above the well.

"Welp," Richie spoke, "who's going first?"

"I will."

Everybody looked at Kaitlyn, who marched over to the well and tightly grabbed onto the rope.

"No, no, no you're not!" Eddie quickly spoke, going after her and taking her hands off the rope.

"And why not?"

"Because - Because you've never been down there, we have! You don't know exactly what you're up against!" Eddie reasoned.

"Yes, yes I do! I saw the spider thing-"

"But it could turn into something way, way worse." Eddie spoke, not caring that everybody was watching them.

Kaitlyn stared at him. "Okay, well, then, you go down, first." The woman challenged, handing him the rope.

"What - huh?" Eddie stuttered in fear as he quickly looked from the rope to the woman in front of him.

"You heard the girl, Eds." Richie smirked. "Go down, first."

Eddie fearfully looked at everybody, who didn't say anything, only looked back at him with smirks. "W - Well, okay." He held his breath as he stepped closer to the well. "Oh shit, oh fuck." He muttered as he peered down the dark, steep well. After a few seconds, he groaned and shoved the rope back to Kaitlyn. "Fine!"

"I rest my case, Edward." Kaitlyn sarcastically smiled at him, and Eddie's jaw dropped. That was the first time all of the adults had heard Kaitlyn talk that much, for she was mostly quiet.

Richie chuckled, nudging Arianna and Sydney's ribs. "I like that girl."

"Here, you need a flashlight." Mike told Kaitlyn, handing her a flashlight.

"Thanks." After Mike told her which hole to crawl through, Kaitlyn started her journey down.

One by one, all of the adults made it down safely to the same hole in the same well that they crawled through as kids.

"Is everybody here?" Sydney quietly asked as they all crouched in the small area. She remembered what happened last time, and she hated for it to happen again.

"Yes." Arianna answered her older sister, making sure everybody was there.

Bill nodded, then started to lead all of his friends into the sewer, and they all stepped into the ankle - high water, making Eddie gag.
