Chapter 7

        "Well there my friends and i trust them with my life" said Corey to Darkoni as he was looking away and then Corey said, "Jeff what do we do now?" "Well lets go to D.C cause we might find some things there." "Well Ashley always wanted to go to Washington D.C" then you see Jeff say "yeah but she is dead and we have to find a way to go to D.C and then you notice that Jeffrey and Davida where looking at the nice truck and Jeff said, "Hope we find what we are looking for." "Yeah same here" said Corey as Davida hops into the truck and they where driving to Washington D.C when Jeff said, "Well dose anyone know what we are looking for?" "We are looking for a red gem that will help me save the world." "Do you really think we will find the gem in D.C?" said Jeff "Well I hope to find something there." said Corey as he was looking at the area and when they got to D.C 3 hours later and it was about 2 hours till dark and they needed to find a place to sleep and there Corey was looking for a place to sleep when Jeff notices there was a building that had a food place built into it and Jeff said, "Lets spend the night there." Davida was a little turned back by Jeff's idea but they decided to go for it anyways cause it would be a way to get some food so there they where in the building when Davida said, "Brother why are you friends with Jeff anyways?" "Well sister he helped me a lot when we where younger and I taught him how to fight." just then Jeff say's quietly, "guys we got a problem" there they where three hunters they where just sitting down enjoying the food and drinks they must have had a little to much to drink because Corey and Davida tied them up and took there weapons and stuff and they left them out side where the zombies can get them. later that night Corey saw something that was different and of some value and then Jeff said, "What the hell is that thing?" "It looks like a map but to what who knows lets take it with us it might come in handy later on." then you see them looking and then Davida said, "Lets use the paper as stuff to burn." "No sister we need it. said Corey as Davida looked at him and then said, "What do we do now this place looks like a living hell." "Lets take my idea and go to bloody Florida." said Jeff as he eats the chocolate bar he pulled out from his pocket there Corey was thinking and he was in thought for about thirty minutes before saying, "Lets spend a few days here to get some equipment and a new ride as are old one is out of gas." Just then you see Corey walk to the roof of the building and there he was looking out at the capital building then Davida comes up to him and said, "Did you lose anyone you care about?" "I don't want to talk about it" said Corey so Davida walks away and goes to Jeff and then asks Jeff why did Corey looked sad then Jeff said, "Well there was a person he really cared about but that person died." "So this person was his girlfriend?" "No he never asked her out but she died." "Well that's why he is sad all the time." "Well he really liked her and he wanted to tell her he loved her but it all failed when he found out she died he feels alone but he will be okay." said Jeff just then Davida said, "What do we do now if we have to fight our way through these hunters and zombies and giant beasts?" then Jeff said, "Well we have to worry more about the giant beasts." about ten minutes later Corey comes back and then Davida says, "Well what do we do now its night and I can hear a lot of zombies outside?" "Well we need a car and we need weapons." Corey says his eyes still red but other then that he was okay he just thought about some things in his life he would never see again just then Davida said, "We have to spent the next four days in this building?" "Yeah we do" said Corey so they found a place in the building to sleep in for a few days and then Jeff asked Corey to come over to where he was away from Davida so she wouldn't hear and said, "I'm sorry that Ashley died it's all my fault." then Corey said, "Dude it's not your fault its mine if I hadn't run away none of that would have happened to her." they decided it was time to get some rest they have a lot to do in the morning.
