The next morning, it was more hot outside than usual.
I had gotten Michelle's phone number and she's been telling me all about how awesome it was to be touring with KISS.
I texted her back and said that I wish I could go, but Vinnie needs me more than anything.
After I sent the text, I looked over to my left and saw Vinnie.
He was sitting at the kitchen table while having a cup of coffee.
In front of him, was the local newspaper.
"Emily, could you come over here and sit with me at the table for a little while"?
I giggled to myself and then stood up from where I was standing.
Vinnie smiled at me and pulled out a chair.
"I know that the guys are on tour, and I don't want to make the decision for you, but if you want to join them, then I'm okay with it".
I almost couldn't believe what I was hearing.
Vinnie really needs me.
Yet he just said that it was okay if I wanted to go on tour with KISS.
At that moment, Vinnie's beloved rescue dogs wandered into the kitchen area.
I smiled and one of the smaller dogs licked my leg and I petted it's tiny head.
