Jaiden Hart's POV:
The shed door flew open a small girl being thrown inside. She was nine, just like the others. Her dark blue eyes looked from one child to another. Her Sandy brown hair fell by her beautiful slim face like a waterfall.
Two of the children, a boy and a girl, backed away as much as they possibly could pressing their backs up against the shed wall watching the tall man stare directly at them.
His face, why can't I see it..
I need to see it...
It's so blurry though, just HIS face, why?Another boy in the room had come up to the new girl embracing her in a hug. He rubs her back trying to calm her down, she was so scared. Wait... Not she, me...
I woke up practically screaming. My skin was damp with sweat and the covers were tossed off the bed, probably happened in my sleep. I pushed my sandy brown hair back which was practically sticking to my wet face.
I pressed my hand against my hot sweaty forehead. It was just a nightmare. Just a nightmare. Why would I still have dreams about that god-awful shed. After all these years why now?
I tossed my legs off the bed my feet warming up to the soft white carpet below. I unplugged my phone from the charger which was sitting on the small wooden nightstand to the right of my bed. I looked through my notifications just one standing out to me.
Mark uploaded a new photo!
I clicked on the notification bar waiting for the photo and caption to load.

I've known Martha and Mark for about eight years, a really long time. We went through a traumatic experience together, ever since we've been inseparable. I remember crying to my parents that I wanted to see them, to let them know that I was okay, to see if they were okay.I shook my head pushing the thoughts to the back of my head. Think positive! I took a deep breath and forced a smile on my face. Today will be a good day, I know it...
It took about 20 minutes to finally finish eating and get ready for school. The toast tasted like shit. But it's my fault, I overcooked it.
I slip on my black poshmark jacket as I walk out the door shivering as the cold air hits my skin through the rips of my black jeans. I didn't have much time before school so I just threw my hair into a messy bun, I didn't even bother with the strands of hair that still fell by my face.
The walk was only about 5 minutes, though I still hated it, walking on this street. The street were I knew everyone and felt so safe, the street were my home stands tall and proud. But this was also the street were something horrible happened to me, even though I thought I was safe here.
I walked down the white pavement path leading through the school yard. They had planted some blossom trees here recently so the school is looking better then it did before.
Mark and Martha were waiting for me by the benches. Martha turned to look at me with her dark chocolate brown eyes nudging Mark in the shoulder to look at me as well. "Jaiden!" Mark yelled gesturing for me to walk faster. I chuckled picking up my pace.
The moment I reached the two of them Mark hugged me spinning in circles. "Ok ok ok! Stop hahaha!" I could hardly stop laughing. The moment he put me down Martha rapped an arm around me pulling me closer to her. "Ok girl! Tell me why you were so late today." Martha said messing up my hair as if it weren't already messy enough.
"I dunno, just had a hard time sleeping.." I replied looking down at the pavement. Martha let go of me falling silent as well as Mark.
"Your having nightmares about the shed again aren't you?" Mark asked his voice barely hearable. I looked up at Marsha, she was still. Not just still, really still, she wasn't even breathing as far as I could tell.
"Martha.." I whispered reaching out to run her shoulder. I knew the shed still haunted her memories, maybe even worse the me and Mark's, how could I blame her? She lost someone important to her in that shed, that pain will never leave.
Martha shook her head taking a step back. "If your still having dreams about that... The shed... you should probably see a therapist" Martha said her head bowed down at the floor so we couldn't see her face.
Mark rubbed her back in an attempt to comfort her. "That was long ago, we can't just go see a therapist expected to forget all about it. That experience will stick with us forever, there's no use in seeing a therapist." Mark explained .
Martha stayed quiet for a moment before we heard the bell ring. "Let's go to class" she said forcing a smile onto her face.
