**Chapter 2**
"Janice, love, do you think the guys need to have separated rooms?"
"I think so, babe.. At least until they know and trust each other"
I hear them talking from the kitchen, I may be quiet far (not that much) but I can hear them perfectly, I just pretend I don't.
I have to deal with the fact that I'll have a brother now, how can they think to put us in the same room?
"Taylon, honey, tonight you'll sleep in the guests' room, it could become your room.." Joel says,
"Okay" I whisper as I grab my bag and follow him upstairs.
"It's the first on the right" he says poiting at the door of the room that will be mine, I nod my head.
"The second door on the right is the bathroom, the first on the left is my son's room and that door right there is ours" he adds looking at my mother,
"Where's your son, by the way?" she asks,
"He'll be out for few more days, he's working" he replies smiling.

Done, I fixed all of my stuff in 'my' closet, I go downstairs, a good smell is coming from the kitchen.
I open the door, 'All About That Bass' by Meghan Trainos is playing, my mother and Joel are cooking/dancing.
He carries her and makes her swing, she laughs as she never did and they both fall on the ground, I smile.
"Oh, honey" she says as she quickly stands up,
"No, please, keep on going" I say giggling, they laugh.
"Dinner's almost ready" Joel says with flour on his face,
"I see" I laugh.
"What do you think about your room?" Joel asks,
"I really like it, there's a cool view from my window and I have a stereo and that's perfect" I say,
"She plays instruments and sings" my mother proudly adds,
"Oh, this is great.. One of this days you could do a concert for us" Joel says smiling.
"Dinner's ready!" my mother yells with a smile as she comes in the dining room and put it on the table,
"Iltapala" Joel says smiling,
"What does it mean?" she asks,
"Specifically it's 'Supper' but let's just say 'Dinner', easier" I say as I start eating, she looks at me with a surprised look,
"Exactly, good job" Joel says clapping his hands,
"Thank you" I say giggling as I bow.
"Where did you learn it?" my mother asks,
"You taught me the basic things but I wanted to know more, so.. on internet" I say, Joel starts laughing, I blush.
"A curious girl, I like it" he says smiling.
