1. Chelsea's Field Trip

"Barbie! Barbie!" Chelsea exclaims as she runs into the kitchen.

"You were right. I do have homework."

"I knew..." Barbie smirks. "Hand it over..."

"It's a permission slip to go to the aquarium!"

"A permission slip? Why you need that Auntie Chelsea?" Isabelle asks from the kitchen island next to Annabelle as she eats her favourite chocolate ice cream.

"Because I'm going on a trip with my class. Barbie needs to give me permission to go on the field trip."

"What a feel trip?" Isabelle asks.

"It's a field trip, Isabelle. It is when you go with your classmates to somewhere outside of school instead of going to class for the day." Chelsea explains.
"We just finished learning about fish so we are going to the aquarium."

"Wow! Auntie Chelsea lucky. Why don't we go on feel trip with preschool?"

"You're too young, Annabelle. Besides, we can always take you somewhere fun to visit." Barbie responds.

"Yeah, but preschool boring. Trip would make it more fun."

"Oh, Annabelle..."

"Isabelle!" Annabelle exclaims as she walks into her bedroom.
"What can we tell Miss Clark to get her to take us on trip like Auntie Chelsea?"

"Maybe we can just ask her to go on field trip." Isabelle suggests.

"No. That too simple." Annabelle disagrees.

"I don't know...maybe do something she really like." Isabelle says.

"Maybe we can bring in lots and lots of chocolate ice cream!" Annabelle exclaims

"Do you think she really like chocolate ice cream?" Isabelle asks.

"Oh yeah! Who doesn't love chocolate ice cream!"

"What are you girls doing?!" Ken exclaims as he finds Annabelle on Isabelle's shoulders as she reaches toward the freezer.

"You know you girls aren't allowed any chocolate ice cream before dinner."

"It not for us. It for Miss Clark!"

"What?! Why would Miss Clark want ice cream?"

"Annabelle say if we bring in ice cream then Miss Clark will bring us on trip to aquarium like Auntie Chelsea!"

"Yeah!"

Ken slaps his hand to his face.

"Oh Annabelle...You can't bring ice cream to preschool. Even if it is for Miss Clark. Why don't you just ask her if your class can go?"

"That's a great idea! Why didn't I think of that!"

"Annabelle! That what I say!" Isabelle pouts.

"Come on girls! We are going to be late for school!" Barbie calls to the girls.

"We can't be late! I'm going on my field trip today!" Chelsea exclaims.

"Just a minute!" Isabelle calls.

"Isabelle!" Chelsea exclaims. "Hurry up!"

Ring ring ring!

"Who is calling me! Hello?" Barbie answers her cellphone.

"Yes...yes, this is Chelsea's sister. Uh huh....yea....sick? Oh no...but it's just...you know?...would it be alright if I bring them? Ok, perfect."

"Who that, Mummy?" Annabelle asks.

"That was the principal at Chelsea's school. One of the chaperones for the field trip got sick and they asked me to replace her."

"So you're coming on the trip too, Barbie?" Chelsea asks.

"Yes...except there's nobody to watch the twins so they'll be missing preschool today to come on the field trip."

"Yaaaay!" Annabelle and Isabelle cheer.

"Oh, great..." Chelsea buried her face in her hands.

"I can't believe your mum and little sisters are here!" Kira sighs.

"You mean my sister Barbie and my nieces? I can't believe it either!" Chelsea whines.

"So there was really nobody to watch the twins today?" Tamika asks.

"I'm afraid so.." Chelsea replies.

"Look Mummy! Fish!" Annabelle exclaims as she points to the rainbow fish swimming behind the glass.

"I see!" Barbie exclaims.

"Did you see that one go, Mummy?!" Annabelle cheers.

"Yes I do! Did you see that too, Isabelle?"

"Isabelle?"

"Where's Isabelle gone?"

"Move over you silly dolphin! You need to learn some manners and share our pool!"

"Is that your niece swimming in the glass?" Tamika asks.

"Isabelle!" Chelsea exclaims.
"Oh great..."

"Isabelle get out of there!" Barbie yells.

"I can't believe the aquarium staff had to drain the pool and then we all had no more fish to look at!" Chelsea cries.
"I am never going on another field trip again! At least until the twins graduate preschool and won't need to come."

"Well, more for me! I had so much fun!" Isabelle cheers.

"Yeah, Mummy! When the next time Chelsea's school ask you to come on trip again?!" Annabelle asks Barbie.

"Probably not for a long time....."
