We are a product, at least initially, of our communities. Certain things we are used to doing we may treat as the "true" way of things. This is more than just a habit that roleplayers have, however, but it is a human nature. As a easily understandable reference, we may be used to the Age of Consent in our own countries, and may shun countries that have lower ones.

For sake of roleplay specifically though, this can be a thing that hinders the experiences we are able to have. Being able to travel to different roleplay groups who may have different customs than your own, so long as they are customs and not just ignorance, is something that can bring unexpressable joy and wisdom. The things you can learn from someone not like yourself, for good or bad, and invaluable for any roleplayer.

But sometimes, because we are used to things being a certain way, we reject ones that are different as being inferior. Lets look at some common "molds" in the Roleplay Fighting Community.
