"I can tell" he said laughing

"I'm sleeping sh" he laughed again.

"okay you can talk to me now" I say sitting up.

"wha- is that how you wake up" I smile

"you slept for 2 hours" I look at the time

"its five thirty" I say groaning

"what's wrong with five thirty"

"I get up at seven"

"so we get to talk for two hours"

"have you been up the entire time" he stayed quiet

"No you should go to sleep"

"I will once you get in the shower"

"okay are you gonna sleep all day, sad emoji, question mark"

"first you don't even text with emojis so dont talk with them. second that was weird never do that again. fifth I'll sleep while you're at school wake me up when you're back"

"you skipped third- and fourth"

"oh- I didnt say I was good in school I just said I graduated"

"after all you did lose the cap" I mumble under my breath.

He got up and put on his shoes and a shirt. then grabbed the phone and I hear keys. "where could you possibly be going at five thirty am"

he got in the truck and drove off.

"wha- are you outside" I yell

"you're too loud" he mumbled.

"okay" I say quietly.

"are you back home now" he nodded and got out the car.

I watch him put a sticky hanger on the wall then he hung 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘤𝘢𝘱 on it.

I open my mouth "you didnt have to get up just to find it"

"its clearly important to you, I'm not sure why but it is so its important to me"

I smile biting the inside of my cheek
