"our bond- do you think its weaker now" I shake my head "no- the way we just jumped into that conversation told me that we'd be okay" he started dragging me to the huge rock.

"now dont tell me you come here often" he pointed to the rock it said Noen and the date he was there over and over. he pulled out a pocket Knife

I smile "this is your first time not come out here alone?"I say looking around the rock "you're probably sitting on chase's name- and I brought Kennedy- once. Never again but yeah" he said pointing to the name on the other side.

"you were out here the day or the night of new years" he looked at me funny "the night why?" I tilt my head "you forgot new years" he slightly laughed "never thought about it- you can see where the was a red heart- it washed away" I could slightly see it "well-" I cut myself off pulling a red sharpie out my pocket "why the hell do you- nevermind" he said grabbing it.

Then he put a heart around it, tracing the slightest line. "I only carry sharpies on a good day" I say pulling out a black, blue, and four purples.

"you take lavender very serious" I sit up straight "lavender is a very important factor" I daily smilig widely.

"I dont know about all the other stuff, but this lavender is" he said playfully punching my shoulder.

His phone rung, his eyes got wide "shit I totally spaced" he yelled before putting the phone to his ear.

"I know ken i forgot"
"wha- babe I'm sorry just-"

he got quiet then raised his eyebrows at me.

"okay look I'll make it up to you just- please"
"yes bu- why are you with chase"

he slowly turned his head from me.

"yeah well unlike you I dont have feelings for her"
"fuck you I gotta go"

"lav" I stay quiet for a bit "hm?" he opened his mouth but nothing came out "I know-you never mean it that way" he furrowed his eyebrows "what's that suppose to mean" I jump down

"it means whatever you want it to mean Noen" he sighed and came over dragging me back the rock.  "let me see that purple sharpie" I stare at him "the lavender one" he yelled.

I laugh and hand it to him he drew little flowers around our names.

I smile "look, I'm sorry for the way I react to some things. I'm not a jealous person I swear I'm not" I say laughing "but no matter what you're my closest friend and I promise you- I'll never let anything affect that"

he nodded "I believe you" he said before leaning over laying his head on my lap staring up at the trees.
