Two figures sit in a boat.
All alone in the middle of nowhere, no one to help them, nothing that can help them.
One of them wants to stay on the boat, keep it balanced, keep them both alive and the other wants to get off the boat and plunge thinking the boat will be unaffected and will be better balanced without them.
One knows that if the other leaves the boat, it will become unstable, that they will both plunge, not just the other one, it doesn't want that to happen, but whatever it says and does is not enough, it cannot convince the other to stop.
For a while they float together, exchanging words of comfort and words of sadness every now and then, one wants to help, so, so badly but knows it won't help, knows it's two sides of an unfair coin, stay and balance the boat, but be in incurable pain or leave and topple the boat but stop the pain, finally and forever.
Eventually one exits the boat, and as the other knew, the boat topples and both are sent into oblivion.
They fall, then they hit the ground, one survives the other does not. One is distraught as they knew this would happen, as they didn't want this for the other one, as they cared. The other is at rest, has made peace and can finally be calm.
One lays peacefully, the other falls again and again and again, until finally, together in harmony they rest.
Then they are together once again, finally after years of grief and unhappiness. One has been at peace for weeks, the other is finally at peace and is happy once again. When someone is lost from this world, when you can't take the stress anymore, trust that that person would want you to live and be strong for them, don't trap yourself in a fantasy in your mind, don't get lost in horrible thoughts of why it happened and how it happened, just survive and let their memory carry on in your heart
Don't do what I would do, don't join them earlier than you need to, earlier than you should, you'll only upset them knowing that's what they drove you to, live your life to the full and let their memory prosper, and don't throw your life away because it's too hard without them
Dedicated to anyone who could be about to go through, is going through, or has been through loss, stay strong for that person however hard it is
