Chapter 5

Her arms ached but it was a small price to pay because she didn't want them eaten. Just as she thought that Jenna felt something close on her shoe and kicked with all her might as she felt her hands slipping. When she kicked off the velociraptor she repositioned her hands and climbed faster till she finally reached the top.

"Oh my gosh I am going to retire when I get back, if I get back" she said while rubbing her arms and watching the velociraptors jump each trying to reach her.

Though she knew she would never be able to retire. One of the dinosaurs jumped enough to get a foot hold and take a step. Soon they were all taking foot holds of the tree and climbing. They were blue with stripes running down there heads and down to the tip of their tails. After making some growls at each other they backed off but that didn't fool Jenna these beast were as smart as dolphins.

She was right to not be fooled they came back but with only four and those four were still trying to attack. "I think they were lying when they said you guys were as smart as dolphins its not like I'm going to jump down" Jenna barked. But instantly regretted it as huge teeth tried to take a bite if her shoulder. The teeth were longer than her finger. She dodged and grabbed the branch above her head then with all her might kicked at the attacking raptor. It fell knocking down the other three that had started their climb too. Grrrrrrrr it growled in frustration. Jenna looked up and saw the sun coming up. "Great I hope your happy I didn't get to sleep at all" Jenna moaned.

They didn't seem to care and all eight started to climb. "Oh no" Jenna started to think of a different way to get across. Then she saw it the vines. "Well its time to be like Tarzan and skidattle, see you guys well never mind hope I don't see you"! Jenna shouted as she let go of the tree and with the vine in hand swung just in time for the biggest velociraptor chomped its teeth down and missed her by a whisker as its teeth chomped air.

With a flip she landed on her feet and landed in the next tree while letting go of the green vine.
