My first ecstasy
Today I wanted to write about something a little more scandalous I think. I'm going to be writing about the first time I ever tried ecstasy or "XO's".
My very first time on them I was kinda scared to try it. I've always wanted to explore the drug world (besides the crazy ones "meth heroin flakka" those kinda things) anyways before my current boyfriend I had only ever smoked marijuana and I liked it, but I always wanted to try more ya know? So we were out going to get dro (weed) and our guy said "y'all wanted these XO's too right? " and we kinda looked and each other and said "fuck it why not" and we needed up buying 12 of them on accident. So when we got home he looked at me and said "well do you wanna try them?" And outta curiosity I said "hell yeah why not" and we both took one.
The feeling of taking one felt like my whole mood shifted and I felt the weight of the world lift off my shoulders. I've been depressed for years and nothing ever really seemed to help but when I took it my body got the feeling of life again my serotonin levels spiked and I was super happy. Then he said "let's try snorting them" so again outta curiousity I did. And that is when I knew that X isn't all that scary as people claim and that it's actually an amazing antidepressant.
My boyfriend and I have always told each other that we would never let one another get addicted to anything so I know that when we take them it's always just for fun, because the first sign of addiction that we see we would immediately stop it no matter what it is.
Ecstasy is one of those things where while yes it feels great that feeling only lasts as long as the drug permits so we never just keep taking them. We never feel like we need them to be happy and we never take them when we're sad. We know how to control the amount we're taking and do it responsibly.
I just know that being on X has given me some amazing memories that I will never forget.
