Chapter Two: Real Eyes, Realize, Real Lies

The bus was the same everyday. Vic always found a way to get a seat with or next to me. He was really sweet and I finally decided the second week of school that I would start saving a seat for him everytime I got on the bus.

"So, after school, I get to go to my uncles to pick up my new car!" Vic says in an excited voice. He smiles at me and looks around the bus that seemed to vacant.
I had a feeling everyone caught rides today due to the rain. I barely wanted to wait at the bus stop with few people and it drizzling.
"That's great news, but why won't you tell me what kind?" I say with a subtle frown.
Vic laughs and his laughter fills the entire bus room..
"Because, I want you to be surprised," he smiles and stops his maniac laughter. I tried to keep myself from smiling, but I knew that was impossible.
The past two weeks have been consisting of me and Vic becoming bestfriends and trust me, we have. I get to meet his family tonight after school when I go to hear Jaime and the rest play their instruments. I never got to here them before because Jaime kept chickening out. Tomorrow the guys aren't gunna tell him I am going to be there.
So, yeah, tonight will be full of surprises.

Hell, today is Friday and I think usually the only plans I have is to sit at home and maybe eat some pizza and returm to my summer activities of binging and watching The Vampire Diaries unitl I want to throw up from watching so many episodes.

We were at our school and this bus came to stop. Thank god, it's starting to smelll like wet feet on this bus. I stood up and so did Vic. Both of us walked down the isle. I went first and i start to walk and I wasn't paying much attention to where I was walking.

"Woah!!" I said as I slid on a puddle of mud. I almost face planted in mud, but instead Vic swoops under me and falls victim to the large mud swamp and I fall on top of him. I groan, knowing that both of us look like pigs that rolled in mud before school.

"Are you okay?!" Vic asks immediately

.
I check myself over and I decide that I look awful, but feel okay.

"I am alright. How are you feeling? My fat body is thing that fell on you," I say with a nervous laugh. He looks around and he seemed confused as the words from my mouth finally seeked into his brain.

"You realize you aren't fat, right?" he says with a slowly up coming frown.

I shrug my shoulders, "I guess".

He gives me a once over and smiles.

"You are so muddy," he laughs out and smiles at me.

"Yeah, you are muddier," he smiles at my remark.

"Let's walk to my Grams house?" Vic said.

I nodded and we headed up the road that apparently led to his grandmothers.

We walk for 10 minutes and we reached the house. The whole way we were silenced because the mud began to harden and it felt weird and awful.

Vic knocks on the door a few times before it opens.

"What the hay?" a little old lady says.

"Were you rolling in a mud puddle again Victor?" she says and Vic blushes under his mud.

"Hey Gram, I was wondering if we could shower up here?" Vic said in a embaressed voice.

She was a nice old lady. She was small and only came up to my chin. She smiled at me.
