"Thanks for watching, guys, gals, and non binary pals! Peace out!" Thomas ended the video.

"I'm going back to my mindscape!" Roman, Thomas's creativity, dramatically proclaimed.

"Yes, I will also be returning to my mindscape." Logan, Thomas's logic, stated.

"Yay! Memories!" Patton, Thomas's morality, excitedly exclaimed.

Once Roman, Logan and Patton left for their mindscapes, all that was left was Thomas and Virgil, his anxiety.

"You alright, Virgil?" Thomas asked his anxiety.

"Yeah... I just have a bad feeling since you've met both Remus and Deceit." Virgil answered the question.

Now, you may be wondering 'who are Remus and Deceit?', well, Remus is the dark side of Roman - Thomas's intrusive thoughts - and Deceit, well his name says it all, he's the side that tells Thomas it's ok to lie - the dark side of Patton.

"Virgil, it's okay to be worried, I mean, Patton is worried too, he told me yesterday." Thomas said.

Virgil gave a soft, small smile to Thomas and left to his mindscape. Thomas sighed and headed to his room for a nap. Meanwhile in the mindscapes Virgil, Roman and Logan heard a scream from Patton's room. Quickly, the three ran to Patton's room to see Deceit holding Patton captive.

"Dont do it!" Patton cried. "Please don't do it!"

Suddenly Remus came in with an evil/crazy smile

"Give us Virgil and we'll give you Patton!" Remus laughed.

"No, that would be unreasonable. Thomas needs Virgil nearby for his fight or flight responses to kick in." Logan reasoned with his logical thinking.

The tension in the air was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Tears glossed over Patton's eyes as he shook with fear.

"D-Don't do it V-Virgil…" Patton stuttered.

Virgil's fight or flight responses kicked in like a ton of bricks.

"Virgil, Thomas needs you!" Roman exclaimed.

Virgil balled his hands into fists and dug his nails into the palms of his hands. 'Why do they have to suffer because of me?' Virgil thought. The entire mindscape shook, signalling that Virgil was feeling an emotion too strongly. Now, it was time for Virgil to choose…fight or flight?

"Let, him, go!" Virgil chose fight!

Deceit smirked at Virgil. Their plan was fool proof, Virgil would do anything to protect the innocent cinnamon roll.

"Come back to the-" Deceit started but was quickly cut off by Remus.

"Juicy butthole side!" Remus exclaimed.

"I'm not going back without a fight!" Virgil claimed, much to the dismay of Decker. "You've come here and been witless, thinking I'd give up easily! Well I won't!"

Virgil's voice was starting to split meaning he wanted to be heard.

"Virgil, you need to calm down. You're making Thomas over anxious now." Logan quickly said.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk, little Virgil has to calm down or else something might happen…" Deceit said followed by an evil chuckle.

Virgil hissed like a cat at Deceit, who jumped back slightly at the sudden action.

"Fine, I'll go with you." Virgil said gaining a smile from Deceit. "But, let go of Patton first."

"Virgil, no!" Patton cried.

Deceit handed Patton over to Logan and Patton quickly grabbed onto Virgil, refusing to let him go to the dark side.

"Virgil, no." Patton said, tears streaming down his face like waterfalls.

Virgil was silent as tears filled his eyes. It seemed as if everything was going in slow motion as Logan pulled Patton off of Virgil with the help of Roman as Virgil walked towards Deceit and Remus.

After about three weeks Thomas was becoming less and less careful and cautious due to the lack of Virgil. Of course, in the dark part of the mindscape was an unhappy Virgil. He was beginning to feel homesick and started plotting his escape. He was going to leave the mindscape and quickly tell the closest side the rest of his plan…
