Title: P.O.E.M.S
Author: wi_se_gi_rl
Genre: Poetry
Read: 36 chaptersP.S.: I didn't count the dedication because it was not you who wrote it.
I think the title of your book is really original, a funny, different way of writing and presenting it.
I found some grammar mistakes, the most part related with the question marks (you forget them a lot) but nothing special and definitely not something that makes the reading of your story difficult.
The genre of your story (Poetry) is a genre that's really difficult to review because more than any other it depends on the writer and the reader, and different interpretations of the same thing could exist. So, you can't imagine how happy I was when I saw the poems had no connection between them, because that makes me life easier, I can easily give you my opinion about each one individually and then the overall...
Silver Lining (first poem):
It is not exactly my type as it is closely related with a religion. Although, I can without difficult say that it is well-written, with a really good flow.Silence Speaks (second poem):
It is good, something everyone can recognize as everyone knows about it. Even though it is good, I think the flow is broken in the last stanza by its last verse ("when they need you"), making the end of the poem a little strange.Journal (third poem):
This poem is really good, with a lot of people able to relate with that as they also have journals where they write their secrets and talking about a theme that even who can't relate with is able to understand as it is something mundane. And, to be honest, what makes me think about this poem as a really good one is also your capacity of writing such beautiful thing about such normal object. The only thing I think I must also say is that the flow is good. The Most Important Decision (forth poem):
It is an amazing poem, with a really good flow but, to be honest, I couldn't understand the relation between it and the title. Also I think it seems a little strange in the beginning because the way it is presented (aesthetically) is different from the others people read before. The Lord Rescued Me (fifth poem):
Like the first poem, it is not my type because it is closely related with a religion. But, undoubtedly, you wrote a beautiful, emotional poem that clearly shows your talent, presenting as well a good flow.
