Placing the last box of your stuff inside your new house, you let out an exhausted sigh dusting your hands off.
"Finally" not wanting to touch your face with your dirty hands, you wiped your sweat off your temple with your arms and plopped down into the couch which was oddly positioned in the middle of the room.
Mentally planning how to organize the room, you wandered your eyes around the house which was filled with your new furniture as well as some old ones from your previous apartment.
Unlike your mom and sister who wanted you to settle down in the same area as theirs, you went ahead and bought the place just outside of the city where it was quiet and peaceful. There were few houses in the area and the rest was covered with trees plus a beautiful lake nearby, a perfect place to go for an evening walk.
Your house was small and simple. One story with a slanted roof, however, was exactly the way you had always dreamt of. The moment you laid your eyes on this house you had felt a strong, indescribable pull towards it so without even asking your parents for the suggestions you had bought it.
The sun gradually went down and light passing through the window dimmed out as well.
As you were busy admiring simple yet elegant Palladian windows of your new home, you noticed a guy wearing all white standing on your lawn covered with snow, gazing at the house with longing eyes.
Thinking he was your neighbour you hurriedly cleaned your hands and took a thick shawl to wrap yourself, you dashed outside of the house to greet the guy.
"Hello, I am your new neighbour" You bowed sightly however the guy simply stared at you without giving a reply.
"UMM, Do you live nearby?" You inquired feeling slightly uncomfortable for being ignored.
"You are talking to me" The guy pointed his finger at himself looking fairly surprised at the fact you tried to make a conversation with him.
"Well, it's just us around here right now" You let out an awkward laugh swinging your hand to and fro.
"Yes!!!!" he yelped startling you.
"I am your neighbour and I am here to help you" He gave you a cheeky smile, causing warm emotions to stir within you.
"By the way, I am Yun Saya" You stretched your hand for a handshake and he happily took it.
"I am Taehyung" you shivered, finding his touch freezing but thinking it was due to the cold weather you dismissed the thought and invited him in.
The entire evening, he helped you to organize your house. You found him an oddly refreshing guy. His personality was completely in contrast with his deep voice and sophisticated look but it all added to his charms
Without even realizing it, you two spent the entire night talking and getting to know each other. His company brought a warm fuzzy feeling in you and for some reason, you just wanted to be in his presence however exhaustion quickly took over you and before you even realized it, you had fallen asleep on the couch beside him.
When the morning light hit you on your face, you couldn't help but groan and burrow yourself into the warmth of the soft blanket. You didn't feel like waking up so you desperately hung on to the pleasant feeling of fogginess that was gradually wearing off.
Suddenly the event of yesterday's night struck you in your head and the dreamy mood plummeted in an instant as you jerk up searching for your neighbour but to your dismay, he was nowhere to be seen.
"Maybe he went back" you came to a conclusion but still wandered around to see if he had left a note for you.
And just like that, the mysterious guy was nowhere to be seen again for the rest of the week, however, he never left your mind. It was as though he was permanently drilled inside your head because all you could think was about his smile, how his voice sounded like, his mischief-filled eyes, and every other tiny little detail concerning him.
