•Backlash!

"Erica you alright na?" Pooja asked

"For the umpteenth time! I am alright! Chotti se chot thi why are you getting so worked up?" 

Erica said in an cute annoyed voice. Her interrogation was going on  since the past hour. Pooja, Sahil and shubhavi got to know about the little accident that happened the previous day on sets. 

"Ek toh already patli si hai aur kaise tension na le tere liye ek photoframe girna bhot badi baat hai!" sahil said in quite a worried yet funny manner. 

There was knock on the door. "Mam! Aapka Shot ready hai!" a spotboy informed Erica.

"Haan coming!"

"Eri you should have taken a day off abhi toh lines bhi yaad nhi kari" shubhavi tried her luck for the last time all of then were trying to convince her but she remained adamant. 

"Arrey I will manage aapka Parth help karega aur waise bhi I read the script zada dialogues nhi hai so don't worry you guys prepare for your shots waise bhi aaj jaldi backup aur kal Kolkata ke liye nikalna hai na! Fir uske aagle hafte se promotions!"

"Haan! Haan! Jao jao maangye Eri tujhe!" pooja said.

Erica soon was on sets it was her first scene with Sanjay Sir. Who would play Naveen babu he was opposite Erica and she was a bit nervous as it was her first scene with him and she was not prepared for her shot she nervously fiddled with her bangles when Parth found her all lost in her world he snapped his fingers in front of her face to bring her back to earth.

Kya hua?

Kuch nhi! He saw her hands had the script but in the past few weeks he got to know that Erica was a perfectionist when it comes to her lines she learned them by heart and even discussed and rehearsed the scenes with but today all she did was look at her script and zone out.

Lines yaad nhi hai

Her eyes shot up. She gave him a nervous look.

She shifted a bit and pulled a chair in front of her and patted on it to indicate that it was for him. He just chuckled she was so cute with a little angry pout and that patting the chair was adorable. He sat on the chair and explained her the scene and then said his lines and asked her reads her out loud. 

In a matter of minutes she memorised her lines perfectly and did the scene with sheer perfection. Sanjay sir her co-star even came and complimented her on her hard work. And all this time she looked at him and pass him a small smile. This seemed quite natural for them to gaze at each other while talking to someone for the most of time they thought that they were getting into the character but doing this off screen often became a habit. And this for sure was not hidden from the peoples eye. 

The sets were used to be filled with journalists as the release date or the premier night was quite near. It was September already and Kolkata was there last stop they were supposed shoot there for a week and the following they were just supposed to do PR and Media interaction. Gossip channels and news channels were quite interested in this particular show first for its grand scale. 

Second because it was a recreation of an iconic show which made balaji, BALAJI a very successful production house. So everything on sets was recorded and reported. So this comfort level and closeness of the two co-stars was defiantly the spice that was needed In the Television industry.

The Kausatii Cast was ready to hop on the plane for Kolkata, Ekta was going to accompany the cast on Monday; Parth and Erica to be exact the PR was starring from Monday and the first venture was Kolkata the rest of the cast was supposed to fly back on Saturday itself. Parth and Erica spend the whole week shooting, eating, sleeping, picking pictures and roaming around. While Pooja had scheduled a day with a popular channel. Shubhavi and Sahil wanted to go shopping for there respective spouse which did not particularly interest  Parth or Erica so the they decide to spend the day together as it was Friday and the pack up was done quite early well it is safe to say that they both actually liked each others company a lot so they did they spend the day together roamed around Kolkata together. 

But this wasn't the best plan as this turned out quite scandalous for the duo within 24 hours articles, newspapers, online websites had new headlines for the telly town and the kausatii duo seemed to be the new hot topic. 

'spotted together', 'holding hands','looking lovingly at each other' were the comments articles had. The new couple was apparently dating each other. Spending time of sets together like a 'date' is what it was perceived as.

It was a matter of seconds when their whole fandom's shook to the core. Seeing there idol with anyone else but their ship was heartbreaking and thus heartbreak resulted in hate. Both of their social media accounts were filled with hate comments. 

Comments such as 'you and Shaheer were perfect' and ' why did you break Shaheer's heart' and 'don't come in between Parth and Niti! PaNi forever' were all over Erica's social media. While Parth's social media account was filled with comments like ' Niti is better than Erica you should have never left her' and ' Sharica forever! Stop being the Kebab main haddi! Erica deserves better than a loser like you' and 'you will regret dating her'

Not that this was new especially not for them considering the amount of hate they have dealt with before. Fame and love came with hate but the one thing constant were their fans but this hate wasn't from the haters but from their shippers they felt as if they were betrayed and this was something entirely different.

The storm had come over night, as the duo slept in peace their phone was filled with hate messages, but between those messages were some words of support and encouragement. In the sea of backlash and criticism was a few drops of kindness.
