Second chapter! Yaaaayyy, I hope you enjoy!

Hera sat up in her soft, feathered bed, and pulled the dark green comforter around her shoulders as she shivered in the crisp morning breeze that drifted through the balcony window. Unwanted memories came flooding back and she instinctively picked up her one escape from the forlorn world she lived in. Her diary.

Dear Diary, let me continue the story that I started yesterday. As you know me and Astrid had been playing tricks……...

Hera and Astrid had a couple more laughs which I will not tell you in great detail as I am short on time before breakfast, but they consisted mainly of transforming Thor into a pig, doing makeup on Odin while he was in his OdinSleep, and…. Giving Loki love potion that made him fall in love with the first person he saw, then we got him and Lady Sif in the same room! *snickers* It was hilarious! Sif looked so madly helpless.

Now, Back too the important stuff.
Hera and Astrid had finally finished laughing after watching Loki chase Sif around the Ballroom trying to kiss her. Getting punched in the face and a kick in the gut in the process.

Hera fell onto her bed still chuckling as she remembered the lovestruck look in Loki’s eyes when he saw Sif. And the scared, shocked look on Lady Sif when he started chasing her with puckered lips. Of course, the Potion would wear off in a couple of hours so Hera was going to be far away from the castle, and her father when it did.

Hera and Astrid planned to ask Heimdall if they could visit Midgard, or Earth as the Humans call it. While Thor was still squealing in an uncomprehensive way Hera “borrowed” 500 dollars of Human money from her uncle’s secret stash that he literally told everyone about.

She laughed out loud when her Uncle squealed in protest as she ran past him with the money piled in her arms.
Hera and Astrid ran down the Rainbow Bridge but they slowed to a calm walk as they reached Heimdall, “My good Si-” Hera stared to say but was cut off by the golden guardian. “You wish to go to Midgard?” He asked, though Hera knew he already knew the answer.

“Why ask a question you already know the answer to?” she retorted. Heimdall stared at her for a minute, his milky eyes cutting through her. Hera started to squirm uncomfortably, but she jumped at the sudden bellow the came from the stern man in front of her. She quickly looked up, surprised to see that he was laughing. And even more surprised that she and Astrid were laughing too!

Heimdall stopped laughing and looked down at Hera, “You have great spirit young princess.” He said, “I see a bright future for you.” his voice took on a saddening tone as he looked at her as if searching for any reaction. Hera didn’t totally know what he meant but it sounded good.

As Heimdall watched he walk toward the Bifrost he knew he couldn’t mention the darkness that dotted that future, so thick that it could destroy her soul.

Alright, it’s time for me to eat, though I fear it won’t stay down. I will continue my story soon, Goodbye dear Diary.
