"-and then the teacher walked in and-" Steph blabbered on. She wouldn't stop talking today! I felt a pair of hands go round my waist as Cade came up behind me.
"Hey love" he whispered into my ear as he sat behind me with his head resting on my right shoulder.
"Hey, how are you?" I said with a huge smile on my face as I turned to face him.
"I'm great-" he said giving me a kiss. I intertwined our hands.
"How was Storm this morning?" He questioned.
"He was okay. He has his last chemo today so he's super excited for that. But mostly because I promised him ice cream and movies when I get home." I said. He face brightened up. He loved my brother. That's how we met, his mum, Louise, works in the hospital as a child nurse. He was waiting for her to finish work one day and saw storm playing on his own. When I went to pick up Storm from support club he was playing with Cade.
I love Cade, honestly he is the best boyfriend a girl could have. He's friendly, slightly geeky, doesn't mind staying in when his mates are out partying, he loves babysitting my brother with me, a great kisser, he helps me with my homework, comforts me, gives the best cuddles and he doesn't make fun when i cant read something or have trouble understanding.. he's just cade. He's amazing. My family love him too which is a bonus.
"Holly? - Hellooooo?" Cade said waving his hand in front of my face.
"Oh..um.. Sorry, what did you say?"
"I asked if you wanted too come with me to the party on Friday?" He said as the bell went. Everyone rushed out of the canteen into the hallways while we were just leisurely walking hand in hand to class.
"Um.. Sure"
"Great, I will see you after then yeah?" He said. And then kissed me.
"Yep, see ya" I replied as I walked to Biology. I love biology. It's my favourite subject. It also helps that the teacher is super hot. What?! Just cause I have a boyfriend doesn't mean I can't call boys hot! I walked into class seeing only one seat empty. Next to Frankie Young. So I sat there.
"Hey there Hol-" he began but I cut him off.
"Before you start speaking, I have a boyfriend so don't flirt with me cause I'm not interested." I said to him. Making it clear I didn't want to talk.
After everyone was in the room the teacher, Mr. Warick, started telling us about the work we were doing today and what the homework was.
The bell went after half an hour of looking at the clock. I always finish my work quicker than everyone else because i study the night before. Some people only took biology because they through it would be easy like media. Believe me.. It's not. So many technical terms and statistics to remember. Sometimes it gets even me confused. But today I had been edging the clock to go faster, faster. I grabbed my bag and walked to the door but just as I was about to walk into the corridor Sir called my name.
"Er..Yes Sir?" I asked with a puzzled look on my face.
"I have noticed you have been getting the best grades in the class. Well done." He said as he packed up his laptop and paper work.
"Um.. Thanks sir" I said as a smile crept onto my face.
