( " It's okay if you feel the pain
Don't gotta wipe your tears away
Tomorrow's another day
It's okay not to be okay
It's fine, you're allowed to break
As long as you know, as long as you know
Everything's gonna be okay." )

The rain seemed to always make the world understand that the earth got sad sometimes too. Maybe that's why Cleo liked rainy weather, or at least the aftermath when it left a cool wind right after. However the climate was different here, and after the rain it always felt warmer compared to the Netherlands. Nonetheless, Cleo still found enjoyment in it. She took her time getting back to The Bennett household, even though the rain practically drowned her with each step she made.

Cleo eventually made it back to a quiet and dark house, Aunt Leslie's car was not out front, but besides the light patter that hit against the windows, Cleo could hear a tv or laptop playing in the background, leaving Cleo to believe Gia was home. Leaving her damp things by the door, she made her way through the house stopping to get a large glass of water on her way by. Cleo had her night all planned out, slightly thankful that she was able to leave work a couple hours early.

It was a little after four p.m. but that didn't stop Cleo's plan for her night routine. She popped in on Gia who was indeed watching something on her laptop. "Hey, fam. Didn't hear you come in."

"Whatcha watching?" Cleo smiled.

Gia shrugged her shoulders, "some old show. Freaks and geeks, I think it's called?"

"A classic." Cleo gave a chef's kiss making Gia snort.

"If you say so," Gia stretched her legs out, "what're we having for dinner? Mom didn't leave any cash for us."

Cleo leaned against the doorway thinking about it, "then that means we're probably having leftovers."

"But I hate meatloaf." Gia groaned.

Cleo laughed, "you can have my lunch that I didn't get to eat. My burger and Brussels sprouts."

"Are you offering me grass?" Gia sat up with raised brows making Cleo immediately roll her eyes, "can't you see I'm thin as it is?"

"Runs in the family I guess." Cleo crossed her arms, knowing that no matter how much Gia or Rue ate they'd always have their fast metabolism going for them.

Gia sucked her teeth, "I mean I'm not ashamed of my body or anything like that...I'm just saying I don't want leftovers and I don't want your hippie food."
