Heavy felt light headed as he watched his mom return with a glass of water for him and a protein shake. "Mom!" He blurted out.

Dee looked at heavy menacingly. "Don't you dare." He warned Heavy.

"Looks like you guys like having wrestling matches without me." She joked.
Emily stood silently in the corner. "I have to go. I can't be here anymore." And with that she left.
"What's her problem?" Vikki said. Heavy stood up and he followed his mom down stairs to the kitchen.

"Mom, are you ok?" He asked once he sat down.

"I'm fine. Your the one who just got his ass handed to him." She said. "Why do you ask." Dee could hear the conversation from stairs. But he couldn't make it to them in time.

Heavy started, "Dee told me you got ra..."

"NO!" Dee screamed at the top of his lungs.

But it was too late. Vikki wanted to know what Dee had told Heavy.
"Dee, let your brother talk, your being weird again."

Heavy swallowed hard and looked at Dee, whose eyes were burning with hate.
"Dee told me that you were... raided on our video game. Did your village survive?" He said.

Dee exhaled hard.

Vikki looked questioningly at Dee.

Then answered heavy. "Yes, I was raided but I fought them off and we rebuilt."

"Oh, that's great." Heavy said nodding.

Dee left the room but pointed to heavy and gave the "I'm watching you" signal first. Heavy gulped and nodded. Dee went to go see his father but Glam wouldn't let him in. Glam had made flow charts of how he could start this conversation with Vikki and how each one could go. He should talk to Vikki about what he found first even though it could mean she would leave again. Glam had to break the news to Emily and Dee. They were half siblings. Just then Dee asked through the door if he could go over to Emily's house. Fearing another angry melt down, Glam let him go and didn't tell him anything else. "Don't do anything you may regret." Glam said as Dee walked out the door. Dee raised an eyebrow at this but kept walking.
Vikki was down stairs with Heavy and she tried to get Dee to come play cards with her. He told her he was going to Emily's house. "Oh, that's too bad. Maybe next time." She said. "Yeah, next time." He said back at her.
Later that night Dee came in late and went to his room.

Dee ran into Glam and Glam saw a stupid grin on Dee's face. "Please tell me you didn't sleep with Emily yet."
"What? No, we made out for a while. It was different. But I liked it."

Glam's eye twitched giving away his discomfort at this situation. Usually Dee would have caught on but he was so infatuated with Emily that his judgement was blinded.

"Good night then." Glam said patting his son on the arm. Heavy was playing guitar in his room but was completely distracted doing so. Glam decided now would be a good time to talk to Vikki about what he found. It was now or never.

Vikki was in the garage lifting weights and listening to shade by Heart of a coward.

She looked at Glam and he looked at her. "20 more reps and I'm finished with my workout." She said still lifting the dumbbells.

He waited for her to finish. She sat down on the chair next to her and wiped her face with a towel.

"I have something for you." he said.
"I need you to understand that I love you and nothing will ever change that. But we have a problem and I need your help to find a solution to it. Your going to be mad at first but know that our son's future depends on you helping me." He explained.

He handed Vikki the copy of the news report and Emily's adoption papers.
She stood up as her eyes paced across the paper. She flopped back down into the chair. Vikki was a slow reader so it had taken a few minutes.

. She started breathing heavily and tears poured down her cheeks again. She sobbed. "Why? Why? This shit will never be over. It's a fucking nightmare I can't wake up from. Wherever I run, wherever I hide, it always finds me."

Vikki's head hung in defeat.

"You can talk to me about it. I'm here for you." Glam said touching her hand. She pulled away from him.

"Now is a better time than any other." She said trying to laugh but still crying hard.

"I should call Dee for this. I think he and Emily both should be here. Would that be alright Vikki? I don't want you to have to repeat this over again." Glam said.

"Go call them. I'll wait." She said holding her head and looking down. She lit up a cigarette.

"Do you want me to call Anna and get her to come too? It would be good for you to have your friend here." Glam said.

"Sure. She can help me remember the rest of what I've blocked out."

They waited about 20 minutes and then Dee and Emily showed up and came into the garage. It was awkward waiting there for Anna to show up. Vikki wanted to get on her bike and leave she hated being so emotional. She was a wreck.

Anna walked through the door 10 minutes later.
"What's going on? Vikki, what happened to you?" She asked.

"I have to deal with this Anna. I can't keep running. Thanks for coming." Vikki said said getting up from the chair.

Glam picked up the adoption paper that Vikki had now dropped and handed it to Emily.

"That is Victoria's signature at the bottom." He said.

Emily's eyes widened and she looked down at Vikki and the back at Dee.

"Your my.... birth mother?" Emily's face showed disgust.

"I didn't know. I gave my baby away to a good family. She wasn't in foster care." Vikki cried.

"I was with a good family, but they both died in a car crash when I was 5." Emily said crying too now.

Vikki sat back down, lit another cigarette and said,
"I never wanted you to get hurt. I loved you as soon as I saw you." Vikki said. " I was afraid you would be just like your dad, but when you were born, you were so small and innocent. I knew I wanted to keep you but I couldn't. I thought you would have a better life with another family. Someone with more money and more experience with children. This is not what I wanted."

Vikki looked down at her cigarette, then up at Emily.
" I'm sorry for the way your life is. It's all my fault."
Vikki sounded lifeless.

Emily was still crying and she blurted out, "NO! It isn't your fault. You wanted what was best for me. The universe had different plans."

Vikki looked at her with pain in her eyes.
"At the same time, they both said, I love you."
Emily hugged Vikki tightly, and it was a surprise to the hard ass biker.
Vikki wrapped her arms around Emily and patted her on the back.
