Today Ace was heading back to Cali for an emergency meeting with the Los Angeles Police Department, he had to cut his family trip short and leave expeditiously. Him and Nova have not been in communication since he left for Latvia and that kinda bother him.
"Have a safe flight Sweetheart." His Mother kissed his cheek pulling away from the hug allowing his Father to embrace him also.
"Love you son." Asher patted his son's back before pulling away from the hug. It was just the 3 at the airport, Nana and Alyssas stayed back at the rental house since they already said their goodbyes.
"Losandželosā pacelšanās precīzi 15 minūtēs/Los Angeles taking off in exactly 15 minutes." A woman spoke into the intercom as Ace said his final goodbyes whilst gathering his things, "I'll see y'all in a few weeks, Love ya."
Ace got comfortable in his seat mentally preparing himself for meetings and paperwork for when he touched down in L.A

Nova officially stopped taking her birth control pills 2 months ago, Deonte had really changed in her eyes and it only felt right for her to carry his child now.
Nova couldn't lie she was fallen in love with Deonte all over again, "Babe, I stop taking my birth control pills because, I'm finally ready for motherhood." Nova spoke against his chest as he rubbed her back.
"Are you serious right now Baby?" Deonte looked down at Nova who had a huge smile on her face, "I love you so so much." He kissed all over her face making her giggle at how electrified he was.
Nova had already notice a infinitesimal change in her body also a expansion in her diet. She was craving bizarre combination of foods that she wouldn't dare eat, like today she consumed a whole pizza with bananas, white cheddar popcorn, pickles, and chocolate.
Nova was going to purchase herself a pregnancy test sometime this week.

Nova had just came back from her local drugstore with 5 different pregnancy test on this lovely Thursday night. As she was getting ready to open her door Deonte had already opened it about to walk out.
"Where you going Baby?" She questioned Deonte as he fixed his leather vest he was wearing, "I'm going to my homeboy Kal house then I'll be back for dinner." He told her applying a soft kiss to her lips before walking away.
As he walked away Ace was heading to his penthouse not even acknowledging Nova presence, she didn't even know that Ace was back from his trip already.
"Hey Acey Wacey." Nova cheerfully said turning in his direction, but his back was facing her still. "Evening Nova." Ace dryly said unlocking his door.
"Nova?" She mumbled then automatically sigh with guiltiness, "Look, Ace I'm so sorry for not answering your calls or returning them but-" He immediately interrupted her.
"Nov..." Ace paused before sighing, "I overstepped my boundaries with you and truly apologize for letting my feelings get the best of me, anyway have an nice one." He spoke with so much disconsolate.
"Ace what are you talking about? Your my best friend...w-we can still spend time together." Nova stated with a cracked voice, " I'm afraid not Nov. My job in Cali is done, so I'm heading back to Indiana." Ace said finally looking up at Nova who eyes brimmed with tears.
Nova couldn't describe her feelings at this moment but she was definitely hurt. "Are you keeping your penthouse?" She was so lost for words she just came up with something to continue talking to Ace.
"Yea, so I'll see you around...hopefully." He mumbled the last part before heading into his house whilst Nova stood in the hallway like a deer in headlights.
She finally went in her house and decided to take the tests that she brought from the store to uplift her spirits. She waited about 20 minutes before she finally had the courage to go check them.
And all 5 pregnancy test read... Positive
