Shake Town

Chapter 5

Leo Licious's POV:

***In Leo's Nightmare***

Tears trail down my face slowly as I stare at his pail cotton candy pink face filled with fear.

"G-Grey don't you fucking die on me!" I shout as my hands keep pressure on the deep gun shot wound in the middle of his chest. His eyes remained open but mentally he is already gone to a better place.

"G-GREY!? WAKE UP BROTHER!" I cannot help but scream my lungs out in heart felt fear. His body becomes deeply heavy in my arms as I wait for the ambulance to arrive.

***End Of Nightmare***

I jolt up in a completely sweat soaked shirt. My hands come up to wipe the sweat from my brow and then lower to grasp my sides until I am more self aware as well as calm.

Fuck this is the third time this month... Grey, I miss you dearly but please stop haunting my dreams... I used to be the second in command while Grey, my older brother was the leader of the Shakers.

Unfortunately when I had just turned fifteen he was killed to settle the score between the Smooths and the Shakers. Jess, Koda's cousin was killed in a car accident that somehow traced back to us Shakers. But due to Rexx being wrapped around Koda's finger all the time he was sent on a murder mission for my brother's head... And once Grey was gone my world broke apart all around me while both of our gangs were at peace for once... But that was then and here is now I guess...

I stand up and stare at myself in my body length mirror my eyes examine the ace bandage which is wrapped around me very snug. Oh god... What did I do to even deserve this? And what if it actually is Rexx again?

My bedroom door is still locked from this morning, I unlock it and stroll out of my room not even bothering to put on a shirt, but with some dignity I threw on a pair of basket ball shorts and socks. Chris smiles as he sits on the couch eating a breakfast bagel, loaded with bacon and cheese.

"So you spent the night... Let me guess, Kade didn't come and get you again?" I say calmly and the orange toned boy nods to confirm I am indeed correct.

   "Jesus I might as well be a bed and breakfast for that man." My eyes roll as I sigh. Chris hands me a slip of paper with a scribbled 'sorry :(...' on it. I look him in the eyes and make an attempt to reassure him.

   "Man it's alright. I meant about Kade... He just always assumes you will be ok when one of these times it will be the complete opposite... And hell, you might turn out like I did last night..." I motion towards my ace bandage and Chris as usual, nods in a silent agreement. He then points at the doorway of the kitchen after a clanking noise comes from it. I stare at it until Josh's light brown head pops around the corner. I change my gaze to the floor and feel his presence watching me afterwards.

   "Breakfast is waiting for you on the table..." He says as his hand goes to the back of his neck. I continue to stare at the floor as he then brings me the plate containing a breakfast bagel and offers it to me.

   "I am not hungry..." I mumble as he sets the plate down before saying anything.

"Not this again... You have to eat something Leo. Do you remember last time you didn't eat anything for almost two weeks..." His eyes connect to my gaze and I just get up and return to my room without the bagel.
