Hey potaters! I just want to ask, would you rather see more innocent writing or more on the non-innocent side of things? Let me know please!

Later Taters!

Midoriya's POV

After realizing how I felt about Kacchan I spent the rest of the day avoiding him. I couldn't look at him without blushing or stuttering and I didn't want to make it obvious how I felt. Plus, he already had a crush so I wasn't even in the picture. After missing my morning classes, Mr. Aizawa made me apologize to everyone and let me off pretty easy, since he often oversleeps too. I sat in my usual spot behind Bakugo and made myself as small as possible, hoping not to draw attention to myself.

"Good to see you have your shirt on this time, you fucking nerd." Bakugo said without turning around or looking at me. I guess I wan't as unnoticed as I'd hoped.

"Y-yeah," I stuttered. "A-all fixed." He scoffed and slouched a little more in his chair, signaling that the conversation was over.

TIME SKIP TO AFTER CLASS

Bakugo's POV

What the hell was that nerd thinking, being all cute and blushing during class. After our short conversation, every time I looked at him out of the corner of my eye he blushed and turned away. What was that about?

"Hey!" Someone else called. Grrr. Shitty hair.

"What are you doing here, shitty hair?" I asked angrily.

"I wanted to see how you were doing, because you slipped into lunch late, and sat at a table away from everyone else." He stated.

"I CAN DO WHATEVER THE FUCK I WANT SHITTY HAIR. NONE OF YOU GODDAMN BUSINESS." I yelled at his face.

He nodded. "It was Deku, wasn't it?"

"Wha- how did you-,"

"I noticed he was also late for lunch and came in just minutes after you blushing and stuttering." Kirishima noted. "Also, I overheard him say something to Uraraka about running into you in the hall."

Grrrrr. I growled again. How dare Deku come in after me- wait. He left the bathroom before me. Why did he go to lunch after me? Could it be-

FLASHBACK TO AFTER THE BATHROOM INCIDENT

BAKUGO'S POV

After washing my hands to get the last traces of 'nerd' off of me, I quickly exited the bathroom making sure there was no one around. I had noticed the bathroom door was open after I finished my confes- I mean, after I finished cleaning up, but when I checked all I saw was a brown shirt button on the floor. I picked it up and pocketed it, not thinking much of it. But maybe someone had been there.

END OF FLASHBACK

BAKUGO'S POV

I glanced around the room until my eyes found what they were looking for. A short green broccoli boy sitting next to round-face and four-eyes. I noted that they were sitting at the end of the cafeteria near a bunch of potted plants and a window. Chuckling softly to myself, I slunk back to where they were sitting and hid behind one of the bushes.

"Yeah, I didn't understand a thing they were saying either." Uraraka laughed. Broccoli boy nodded in agreement, while Iida shook his head.

"As class rep it is my duty to-"

"Offer help to my classmates when in need." All three of them chorused. Deku and round-face laughed, while Iida just looked confused.

"I don't understand." He said. Uraraka just smiled and waved him off, turning her attention toward Deku.

"So, Deku," she said with an evil glint in her eyes. "Truth or dare?"

"I-I'm not sure that's how that game works, Uraraka-" Deku protested.

"TRUTH OR DARE DEKU?" Uravity said louder and fiercer with a big smile on her face.

"T-TRUTH!" Deku said sacred of her.

"Do you have a crush on anyone?" She asked.

"MEEP!" Deku screeched and buried his head in his arms. "I-I do, but I'm not ready to share yet. I just realized how I feel today!"

"Who? Who? Who?" Uraraka and Iida said together. I didn't get a change to hear what Deku responded, though, because I was busy searching in my pockets for the button I had found. Sure enough, when I found it, it matched the buttons on Deku's shirt. I scanned Deku's shirt to make sure there were none missing and noticed that the top button wasn't there.

I scoffed out loud, probably a bit too loudly, because the whole Dekusquad turned around and stared at the plants. Using my quirk, I broke the window and exploded myself out of there before they saw me. When I was finally far enough away, I collapsed under a tree and picked the broken glass out of my skin.

Deku had a crush? Who could it be? And did he hear my confession in the bathroom earlier? Does he know I like him? I tilted my head back, staring into the tree's branches and closed my eyes. I didn't have time for this! Feelings get in the way of being a pro! There was only room for hate in my heart.

So why wouldn't this feeling go away?

DEKU'S POV

As grateful as I was to that broken window for interrupting Uraraka's interrogation of me, I was still a bit curious as to how it happened. I mean, it's not every day a window gets mysteriously broken five feet away from where you are sitting, right when you were about to say the name of your crush. Maybe it was a sign. I mean, I knew Bakugo liked someone else, so why should I focus on him? Maybe I should focus on someone else to love.

As if on cue, I saw Todoroki walking from where he was sitting over to me.

"Are you okay Midoriya?" He asked softly. "I saw the explosion and wanted to make sure you were alright."

"Y-yeah Todoroki, I'm fine!" I said with a smile. "Thanks for checking on me though. You're a good friend!"

Todoroki's cheeks turned red and his eyes widened. "F-friend?" He asked, shocked.

"Yes, a friend!" I replied hugging him. "You're one of the coolest people in UA!" He smiled at me.

"I've never had a friend before." He turned away, suddenly nervous. I gasped.

"Well now you do! And you can call me Izuku, btw!" I said happily. "As long as I can call you Sho-Chan!" His cheeks flared red, like I had set his face on fire.

"Sho-Chan sounds nice, Izuku." He said finally hugging me back.

Yeah... Sho-Chan does sound nice.
