Author-chan out!

Deku POV

After today with Todoroki, I couldn't quite decide what I was feeling? I mean, I knew I liked Kacchan, as I have since we were kids, but I never thought I would like the No.2 Hero's son! I had always just assumed he had know we were friends after the Sports Festival, but maybe not. He was really sweet though. He came to check on me and to see if I was alright, even though he didn't have to.

The day went by pretty fast because my mind was on other things. Kacchan wasn't in class today, but I hardly noticed. My head was down and buried in my journal, though when I did look up I could've sworn I felt someone's eyes on me.

That night as I was walking around the dorms, I started to think back to this morning and to my surprising arrival. I knew I had lost a button in the bathroom, I noticed during class that it was gone when I tried to cover myself back up. It must have fallen off when I was struggling to fix everything while still listening to Kacchan.

But I still felt like I was missing something, as I there was someone or something I was forg-

"Midoriya!" I heard someone yell from the dorm porch. "MIDORIYA!" I ran toward the voice, worried.

"Kirishima! Is something wrong?" I yelled back, panicked.

"Nah, bro, I just wanted to say thank you for agreeing to come to my party on Friday." Kirishima replied with a big grin. He reached up and tied back his spiky red hair into a ponytail. "I was really worried you weren't gonna come, since you usually avoid parties like the plague, amirite?" He laughed.

"Y-yeah," I stuttered. "I'll be t-there!"

"Great!" Kirishima said with a smile. "Ima go to bed now, me and Tetsu are waking up early to get our work in!" He flexed his muscles and kissed them. "Gotta keep these babies strong and manly!"

I giggled. "G'night Kiri!"

"'Night 'Zuku." He replied, turning around ad walking inside the dorms. I watched him go shaking my head. He could be a little bit silly at times, but he was a great friend and I was happy to have him. I resumed my walk around the premises, unaware of two pairs of eyes watching from their windows above...

TIME SKIP TO 15 MINUTES LATER

TODOROKI'S POV

I watched Midoriya from my window above. At first I wasn't intentionally spying, I heard shouting and decided to check it out. But when I saw Kirishima kiss his muscles and flirt with Izuku, I decided to see where it would go. Izuku giggled, and my heart swelled a little.

I had never really had feelings for someone before, and I only knew what I was feeling was a crush because of Momo. I asked her why I was feeling this way, and she explained to me that it was a thing called "human emotions." She got a total kick out of this. I, however, was slightly confused.

As I watched Midoriya walk toward the woods on the other side of UA, my head began to wonder what it would be like if he liked me back. What it would be like to be loved. My feet had a mind of their own as they carried me out of my room and toward Izuku. I didn't mind, though. As long as I'm with him, I'm alright.

IZUKU POV

I wandered around toward the woods near the main building. I didn't really have a destination in mind, I was just in it for the fresh air and clear mind. I saw a sliver of light break through the thick trees ahead of me, casting shadows on the floor. It must be a clearing! I rushed forward, sticks and branches clinging to my clothes like fingers trying to pull me backwards, but I foraged on toward the light and peace. I broke through the line of warriors that were the trees tall as UA, and saw fluffy green grass in a circular shape with one large tree in the center of it. The tree was covered in scratches and marks, most of them illegible. But there was one that I could clearly make out towards the bottom.

It was a heart. And inside it were the initials K X D.

The heart looked pretty old, the marks were fading and becoming part of the tree. But they had been carved so deeply, that they stood out among angry scratches and fresh wounds. I kneeled to get a closer look, and felt a sharp pain in my left knee.

Glass?

There were dozens of pieces of glass lying in the grass next to the tree. I picked on up and held it to the light. It was covered in a sort of red dust that on further inspection appeared to be blood. I gasped.

Was someone hurt?

Who's blood was this?

Was it a teacher?

A trespasser?

A student?

A frie-
